Evan was looking at us suspiciously the moment we went out of the car. Sinamaan ko nga rin siya ng tingin! I mean, he's Jasper's friend, 'di ba? And if he's happy to be with me naman, why was he being so epal? Ilang beses ko na kaya siyang tinanong! I'd be happy to help him fix whatever his problem was... pero paano ko 'yun magagawa if he's not willing to tell me? Hindi naman ako manghuhula!

"Para kang tanga," I told Kellan because he was smiling like an idiot and even wiggling his eyebrows.

"Five minutes, Ma'am," sabi niya.

"Binilang mo talaga?"

He nodded. "Syempre, Ma'am! Dapat ginawa niyo ng seven minutes para parang 'yung Seven Minutes in Heaven!"

Bigla akong namula sa sinabi niya. Nasa harap lang namin si Jasper at Evan! Gosh talaga 'tong si Kellan! Minsan ang sarap lagyan ng masking tape ng mouth niya!

"Ano 'yung Seven Minutes in Heaven?" curious na tanong ni Nico.

"Hingi kang sample kay Ma'am at Sir," sabi ni Kellan. Gosh. Papatayin niya talaga ako sa hiya!

Kellan was about to say something when he glanced at Jasper. Biglang namutla iyong mukha niya. I looked at Jasper, too, and his face was scary! I mean, he wasn't growling or anything, but if looks could kill? Kellan's definitely one, dead meat.

I shook my head and then began to go in. People were swarming... probably because it was Saturday? And it's already almost 11pm... I just wanted to go home, pero work calls. I mean, kasama pa rin naman sa duty ko na pagbigyan 'yung boss ng brands na kumukuha sa akin, so there's that.

We were ushered to the VIP area. It was pretty crowded and we all needed to get pass through the gyrating body of people. Nauna si Evan, then Kellan followed in suit.

"Akala ko ba no physical contact in public?" I whispered when I felt him holding my waist. We were already walking. I thought it's gonna be hard, but not really naman because Jasper was shielding me from all the people. It's nice talaga to have a guy. Lalo na if he'd make you feel like a princess.

"I thought no teasing in public?" he whispered back in my ears. I wasn't worried about Nico noticing us, because he's too innocent to even notice what was actually happening.

"I said I'll try lang," I whispered again. Then, I felt his thumb gently caressing the side of my waist. Biglang namula iyong face ko. He's so unfair! At madaya!

"Stop that," I said.

"Eyes in front, Ma'am," he said.

I glared at him bago tumingin sa harap ko. Upon reaching the VIP area, nakita ko na nandun na iyong ibang models nung brand. Nakita ko rin 'yung manager ko and iyong ibang staff nung magazine. I said hello to everybody muna. Kapag kasi hindi ako naghi, they'd think na I'm a snob... tapos madadamay na naman iyong connection ko sa de Marco... kahit wala namang connection 'yun sa work ko. Kaya I always need to be in my best behavior, kasi damay lagi family ko kung anuman ang gawin ko.

The Protection Squad was standing on one side. Ganito kasi talaga sila kapag umaattend ako ng events... nasa gilid lang sila. Ilang beses na akong nagtry na isama sila sa party, kasi I wanted them to have fun din, but they're always adamant to focus on their work instead.

"Hey, Maggie," Yan, one of my co-models, said. I rarely talked to her since I got this feeling na ayaw sa akin ng halos lahat ng co-models ko... I mean, if ayaw nila sa akin, e 'di 'wag. I have lots of brothers and cousins, so I'm good.
