The whole day ended without Jasper returning home. I had to pretend that I was busy with something else para hindi mapansin ng mga kapatid ko na kanina pa ako naghihintay. I must've been a hell of a good actress dahil hindi sila nagduda. Though... I got strange looks from Evan. That guy. He's acting like Jasper's mom! May pa-warning pa siya na nalalaman.

When morning finally rolled in, it was back to routine. Nandoon na naman si Jasper sa labas ng pinto ko paglabas ko. I tried to study him, but he seemed normal... Or baka wala lang talaga akong makuha kasi parang robot naman talaga siya? I bet I wouldn't even notice kapag masaya siya or what. He rarely showed anything!

"Morning," I greeted. He just nodded. Nagsimula na kaming maglakad. Feeling ko nangangati iyong dila ko para itanong kung ano iyong nangyari kahapon.

Why was I even this curious, anyway? Crush ko na ba talaga siya?!

"What?" Jasper asked. I just realized na napa-hinto pala ako sa paglalakad ko at naka-lagay pa sa bibig ko iyong kamay ko. Oh, my god!

I was slightly shaking upon realization. Gosh. What the heck was wrong with me? Why would I even like Jasper? I mean, I didn't even know him that much! Ni hindi ko pa siya nakakausap nang mabuti kasi tamad siyang magsalita... tapos crush ko na agad siya?

Something must be seriously wrong with me to like this dull boy.

"Uhm... nothing," I just answered. I felt my face flushed dahil naka-tingin siya sa akin. I had to pinch myself to wake me up from whatever delusion I was having. "Enjoy ka sa free day mo yesterday?" I asked instead.

Automatic na kumunot ang noo niya. Para bang hindi ko dapat itanong iyon.

Tapos... ewan ko kung bakit biglang bumalik sa akin iyong mga sinabi ni Evan.

"Curious lang," I said and then smiled. "You don't have to answer it naman."

'Not Jasper, Maggie. You'll never get him.'

Diretso lang akong naglakad hanggang sa maka-sakay kami sa sasakyan. I purposedly asked my manager to fill my schedule hanggang sa hindi na ako maka-hinga. Thanks to Rafa's help, I was slowly building my name.

I listened to the music on the way to work. Ewan ko ba. I was not in the mood to pester Jasper. Nakakainis si Evan. Why was I even being so affected? So what if crush ko si Jasper? May sinabi ba ako na ipagpipilitan ko 'yung sarili ko sa kanya? I mean, I may be a lot of things, but I know when I'm unwanted. And I was never one to force myself.

Ayaw mo sa akin? Bye.

Pagdating namin sa venue, agad akong bumaba. Diretso akong naglakad papasok. I even saw Evan and the guys throwing me vague looks. Sanay kasi sila na morning ritual ko ang kulitin si Jasper.

"Good morning," Rafa said with a smile.

"Morning," I replied. "Ikaw kasama for this campaign?"

He faked a hurt. "Ayaw mo ba?"

I shrugged. "You're not bad," I just replied.

Rafa spent his time entertaining me habang hindi pa nagsisimula iyong shooting. Being that I was grateful for his help, I answered all of his questions, but gracefully dodged all invites... until I couldn't anymore.

"Oh, come on. One dinner?" he asked.

"I don't know..." I replied.

"Please? You choose the place. You're the boss."
