"Would you like a drink, Jeonghan?" Nurse Josh asked.
"Just water, please," he answered, letting Josh pour him a glass.
Wonwoo pushed crackers around his plate, clearly counting the calories. He had nearly thrown a fit when Josh asked him if he wanted cheese with that. Yuju was eating cocopops, and Soonyoung finished the rest of the box. Junhui was even quieter than usual, wearing his pink sweater, and Sowon wasn't even at the table.
"Is everyone finished?" Seungcheol asked, coming in from the kitchen with a piece of toast in his hand. Jeonghan nearly choked on his lettuce.
"I'm done," he said quickly, pushing his plate away. He threw Seungcheol a sarcastic smile when the nurse nodded towards the glass of water in front of him. He downed the drink before getting up and walking out of the room.
"Jeonghan!" Seungcheol called after him.
The long-haired guy turned around.
"You earned five more points today," the nurse said with a smile.
"Oh, great," Jeonghan replied, "Can I wash the windows to reach Level One?" He faked a grin.
"Uh, no," Seungcheol said, looking confused. "But you should eat more than just vegetables-"
"I ate chicken yesterday," he interrupted.
"I know," the nurse sighed. "I forgot to ask during your check-up - have you been taking your multivitamins?"
"Yes, nurse. Can I go now?" Jeonghan asked in a bored tone. He let his sweater sleeves fall over his bony hands.
"Yes," he replied, smiling slightly as he nodded, "But it's Saturday, what do you want to do today?"
"What am I allowed to do?"
"Anything you like," Seungcheol said, and Jeonghan's face lit up. "-Around the house," he finished.
"Right. Fun!" Jeonghan said sarcastically.
"I'm going on my morning run," Nurse Josh said brightly, having changed into a pale purple tracksuit. He looked stupid.
"Have fun," said Jeonghan, raising an eyebrow.
"Uh, I have to hold down the fort here until Nurse Moonbyul gets here," said Seungcheol, sensing Josh would be giving out invitations to join him.
"Sowon?" Josh asked quickly, as the slim girl walked past. She shot him a disgusted look.
"Fuck off, Josh," she snapped. "I'm going out. Yes, I cleared it with one of the nurses - that one," she added, pointing at Seungcheol. She gave Josh the finger for good measure, stalking out of the front door in her heeled boots.
