Jeonghan stepped off the scales the following morning, and Seungcheol was smiling at him.
The long-haired boy raised his eyebrows, a small smile playing on his own lips.
"Good, Han," Seungcheol told him, "You're almost at your next target."
Jeonghan exhaled, nodding. "That's good."
"Yeah?"
He met the nurse's grin. "Yeah," he replied. He pulled his pyjamas back on, moving his hair behind his shoulders.
"I'm glad you're looking happy this morning, Han," Seungcheol remarked.
Jeonghan scoffed quietly, but he was still smiling. "Good for you," he grunted, heading for the door.
"Have a good day," Seungcheol called after him, and Jeonghan merely threw a peace sign over his shoulder as he left the room.
Wonwoo was leaning against the wall outside, stifling a massive yawn.
"You look tired," Jeonghan observed, tucking his hair behind his ear as he looked at the boy.
"Yeah?" he said dismissively.
"You'll get used to sleeping alone eventually," Jeonghan said, smiling a little sadly.
"Not really," Wonwoo deadpanned.
Jeonghan sighed. "Not really," he agreed.
"Bitch, bitch, bitch," Seungkwan rambled, rushing to Jeonghan's side and grabbing hold of his arm. "Let's talk."
"About what?" Jeonghan uttered, beginning to feel slightly alarmed.
Wonwoo just shrugged and went into the examination room when he was called, leaving the long-haired boy with even less of an idea of what Seungkwan wanted him for.
"What is it, Kwan?" he demanded, trying to keep his voice steady.
They were back in their bedroom, with Junhui nowhere to be seen. Seungkwan stared him straight in the eyes.
"Seungkwan, you're making me uncomfortable, please stop that," he snapped.
The blond rolled his eyes. "Don't act all innocent, here bitch," he told him, "You won't say anything about what happened on the weekend so I can only assume it is suspicious in nature."
"What?" Jeonghan spluttered, "No! Nothing- nothing happened!"
"So what happened?" Seungkwan demanded, letting go of Jeonghan's arms finally. "You came home with all these new clothes - which i'm totally not jealous of, by the way, pink's not my colour-"
"You're lying."
"Okay, fine, not my fault my boyfriend's a broke-ass bitch-"
"God, I wish I was recording this," Jeonghan interrupted him. "Hansol isn't even your boyfriend."
"You sure like to be pedantic," Seungkwan seethed. "Just shut up for one second. What's really going on with you and Seungcheol?"
Jeonghan rolled his eyes. "Nothing, and I mean nothing. Unfortunately..." he added under his breath.
Seungkwan opened and closed his mouth like a fish. He almost let out a screech. "You mean... You do want something to happen. Between you. And Seungcheol."
"Clearly," he drawled, getting out one of his new sweaters from his small closet. "And you want something to happen between you and Hansol. Did he tell you he's asexual, by the way?"
"H-how do you know that?" Seungkwan stammered, suddenly beaten.
Jeonghan shrugged. "I get a vibe."
