"I told you, I don't want to eat any," Jeonghan protested as Seungcheol tried to serve him some bacon.
"But it's so good, trust me-"
"More for me, then!"
"No one cares, Chubbs."
"Wonwoo! Stop bullying Seungkwan," Soonyoung said, pouting.
"Wonwoo, minus one point for calling Seungkwan a mean name," said Josh, entering the room as he towel-dried his hair, dressed in fresh clothes. He'd come to work that morning by way of his morning run, and had showered when he arrived.
"Yah, Josh," Seungcheol said, "You're just in time for bacon."
"Nice," Josh replied with a grin, sitting down beside Seungkwan.
"No, Seungcheol-" Jeonghan huffed, trying to push his hands away.
"No, Seungcheol!" Wonwoo mimicked.
"Oh, no! Not the bacon," Soonyoung wailed. "Hey, give me some," he said abruptly.
"Shut up," Jeonghan snapped as Seungcheol snuck a slice of bacon onto his plate.
"Seungcheol!"
Wonwoo and Soonyoung started mimicking him again.
"Hard to know which side the carrot-head is on," Seungkwan remarked.
"That's enough," Josh said sternly, "Jeonghan, you don't have to eat it."
Seungcheol gave the long-haired boy a look that said, please eat it.
Unable to refuse the adorable puppy-like look, Jeonghan growled, "Fine," and began to cut the bacon with his knife and fork.
"Why hasn't Nurse Moonbyul been in this week?" Soonyoung piped up.
"She and Dr Kim have been very busy-"
Wonwoo let out an obnoxious 'ooh' and Soonyoung started giggling.
"Oh my god," Sowon groaned.
"That's enough. Dr Kim is opening another in-patient facility," Josh explained.
"That's good," said Seungkwan, laying down his cutlery, but looking longingly at the leftover food in the middle of the table.
"Yeah," Josh agreed, "Dr Kim will drop by next week, but that's the reason he hasn't been here much lately. Yuju, he'll still be here after breakfast to take you to counselling, though."
Yuju gave a small smile.
"Sure, whatever," said Sowon. She eyed Josh for a moment. "You're cute with messy hair," she teased, ruffling his hair before getting up from the table. "I'll do the dishes."
Josh looked stunned as she left the room.
"What's gotten into her?" Seungcheol asked aloud.
"Probably after more points," Wonwoo remarked. "She went down a level after she hit me yesterday."
"Wow, don't you think that's pretty, um, lame?" Seungkwan asked him.
"Fuck off."
"Two points," Josh sighed.
"Yo, yo, yo!"
"Oh, hey, Minghao," Soonyoung said brightly.
"Lame."
"Yes, thank you for that, Wonwoo," Seungcheol muttered.
"Wassup?" the trainee nurse asked enthusiastically, dabbing, twice. One on each side. "Everybody good?"
