Naomi’s Parents were there to meet them at Wilson and they looked so in love. Mary looked so pregnant as if she carried ten kids in her womb. Naomi was the first out of the plane with Peter following with their language. They had not arranged for anyone to accompany them and assist them with their language as they wanted to have as much privacy as possible, furthermore a little menial labour had not hurt anyone.
Michael and Mary’s joy was complete when they got into a bear hug with their children. The word in-law and step had been deleted from their vocabulary.
“Mum, you are so big!” Naomi cried out in joy.
“Just a little. Not much.” She said proud of her status.
“Yeah not much.” Naomi chuckled. “Dad what have you been feeding her on?” She teased her dad.
“Come on ladies let’s get out of the heat it will not do a lot of good to the unborn.” Michael declared cunningly changing the topic. He walked side by side with Peter. Michael’s chauffer came and took Peter’s suitcase to pass it through airport clearance.
“So Peter what crime have we committed so that we have to house you for a whole week.” Michael queried.
Peter smiled. “We are just here to have fun and the best place we found to get it is here at home with you guys.”
“Thanks Peter I always knew you a super guy. Bringing my girl to me at this time was a wonderful timing.” Mary turned to comment.
The BMW Michael still possessed was able to take the four in the back seat but Mary requested Michael to still next to the driver. Just as Michael settled in his seat, his cell rang.
“Hi bro.” It was Mr.Omollo
“I have a suggestion for Alice’s graduation celebration, I just acquired recently a new property that I want to turn into a health resort. It’s quite spacious with twenty rooms a swimming pool, a gym and all the fancy stuff that goes with such a place. Its located near Karura Forest on the way to Limuru, in a very quiet environment. It’s with the help of Peter that I was able to get it. My suggestions is that we have the graduation party there and Alice is for it as I have already talked to her. So after the ceremony at the University we will all drive there. The staff is already to perform the required service and the grub is all there and drinks.”
“Wow, bro that’s super I bet it’s going to be fun. And since when did you begin having deals with my son behind my back?” Michael good-humouredly complained.
“We will talk about it when you come. The kids miss you so.”
“Alright, but we were there just three days ago so what is the missing about?”
“No one can get enough of your company. Now that Mary is in your life, the two of you light a up a room with your presence. I have to also admit I would love it if we all stayed together.”
Michael burst out with laughter, startling the driver but the car remained steady though causing there other occupants curiosity to peak.
“That’s a good one bro, I will ask my wife.”
“What are you going to ask me dear?”
“Ian would love that we move in with them. They miss us so and to think about it, it wouldn’t be such a bad idea.” He turned around with a grin to look at his wife expecting her opinion.
“Come on sweetie, don’t go there! We need privacy very badly. I love them too so much but when night time comes, you know we have to have the house to ourselves.” Mary said firmly. “Sorry kids but I had remind your dad.”
