CHAPTER 11
Visitation
-Kyousuke-
I don't really know what drove me to kiss JC, but to my relief, she didn't hit me or anything. She just buried her face in the sheets, is all. "'Ey, don't sleep on me like that."
"I'm not sleeping, I'm thinking. Can't even differentiate the two, as expected from a dog..." she muttered.
"Since you're thinking, when do you think we'll be let out?"
She snuggled her head out of her cocoon. "I'll tell you first thing that I'm a perceptive thinker, not a fortune teller. Happy?"
"Based from your intuition, then?"
She sighed. "Those nuts will probably unlock the doors and windows when they're satisfied with messing with us-- which in the best case would be first thing in the morning, or in the worst case, three days from now. They know we have enough food here anyway. Plus, they have Luke. He's the headmistress's son, so he can do pranks here in the dorm without the caretaker having a say on it. The caretaker even has a crush on him. Next is Nina. Nina's a teacher, who has enough authority to approve of their idea. I bet that hyperactive and childish woman proposed this, even. Erin has no practical use whatsoever except all the locks here. She made sure that we can't get out. With all of that, we just have to rely on the worst case."
"That's reasonable..." I sighed out. "What do they want to see before letting us out?"
"Do I look a crystal ball to you?" she asked in an irritated tone. "For your information, I do not want to answer your questions because I am so tired of talking already. I talk when I'm in the mood, I have to say something, or I want to. But, fine, that's the last one. I bet they want to see us together, is all. Now I'm going to shut up and don't you dare make me answer again or I'll duct tape your mouth this instant."
"O-okay." I closed my eyes and settled on my position. Soon I drifted off to sleep.

I woke up to the sound of knocking, so I tried rolling around to boot my body up. But I wasn't able to, because a mutant sushi's arms were around me. I didn't flinch at his touch, though. I was so used to it. And his smell of cherry blossoms, damn, it makes me want to ignore the guy at the door and continue to sleep beside him. "Oi, Sushi. Let go, someone's at the door. They wouldn't knock if they know it isn't locked from the outside anymore." My eyes wandered to the clock. 'Sheesh, it's just six. Which idiot in the world would knock at this time of the day?!' I thought angrily.
"Can't you sleep for a bit more?" he groaned. I wanted to lodge a book in his face for that, but the way he said it told me he was half-asleep. "I don't want to be up yet."
"Fine, I'll sleep beside you. But let me answer the door."
"Okay..." He was in a deep, unconscious state that he didn't know what he was doing or saying. I stood up and went to the door. Man, the person behind this is quite having extreme joy with knocking. I opened the door and swung it open. "What?!" I growled. I didn't want to growl so early in the morning, but I still had to keep my icy impression. After all, I'm known for that for over two years. I gave the person a killer glare and scowled.
"Oh, so you're my brother's roommate? You're so... pretty! But a bit scary..." a girl about my height said. "Is he there?"
I immediately undid my glare and looked at the girl. She had medium-length black hair that was tied into a fishtail braid running down her shoulder. "B-brother?"
