CHAPTER 12
Alteration
-Kyousuke-
I can't believe my sister is here. Back home she was just fine with me studying here, and now she tells Mom and Dad that she just wants to check on me? This is crazy. I am not putting up with her again. Not like I hate my sister, but more like affectionate hating (which sounds crazy) where I hate her clingy self and her thinking that she's my one and only darling. Come to think of it, I have never fell in love for seventeen years of my life. And getting my first kiss from Margaret didn't make me fall for her, anyway.
On second note, JC seems to be fine with Kana, just the noise. Considering the basis of JC being 'fine' with somebody is answering at least one of their questions and growling once or twice at them.
"Aww, you're so cute!" I heard Kana say. I immediately rushed to the living room to see what she was doing to JC. She was simply petting the Cold Princess's head and surprisingly, JC hadn't latched a book on her face. Yet.
JC gasped when she saw me watching them, her face red from embarrassment. "Be careful," I told Kana. "She might bite your hand off."
"How could you not have fallen in love with this?!" Kana demanded, making JC's face even redder. "You haven't had a first love since you were born, onii-chan!"
Thank you, for revealing that to JC. God, Kana, you're such a pain. "Whatever."
"Imagine yourselves, in this room, together..." She wore a dreamy look.
"Shut up."
"Alone..."
"I'm warning you."
"With the door locked and bolted and the chilly night wanting you to get warm with her..."
"One last chance."
"And your long-kept hormones kick in..."
"Kana, shut up!" I hollered. She laughed and stuck her tongue out. "Come on, onii-chan, don't forget that I'm still your sister. I know how your mind works, especially because I know you haven't fell in love yet. Tsk, tsk." She raised a finger in the air. "Do you want me to tell this cute JC what's going on your mind all this time? I can be really accurate, you know. One time you were staring at a girl back home and you were imagining you--"
"Shut up!" I said in defeat. Admitted, I did think I was friends with the girl. But that was it, no dirt included. Kana often gets my thoughts right, but she adds so much details to it that people believe I'm such a goddamn pervert when I'm not.
"Come on. I see it in your eyes. You were thinking about JC earlier before you chose to peek in on us here, right?"
That was a clear shot, Kana. "That's enough."
"Why are you thinking about JC, then?"
"I was thinking if she was comfortable with you, duh."
"Really?"
I turned to look at our subject at the moment. Her face was uncontrollably red that one might think she was a tomato. "Fine, Kana, go on with your lies. They're not true anyway."
She snickered, whispered something to JC that made her redder than usual, and smirked at me. "Kana, what was that? Spill it."
"Nuh-uh! You said they were lies! I just revealed a teenie-tiny bit of your embarrassing past back when you went to the sauna with your friends. You do remember what happened to the towel on your waist when you went to see the girls, right?"
