------A Few Days Later------
We took a few days off from the tour for a little while before we started the next show in New Orleans, Louisiana. And during the break, I set up a doctor's appointment because I haven't had one since I left for the tour. The appointment was set for today, so I quickly got dressed and waited for Madison by the front door. Since Cody can't be here with me, my cousin MaKenna was so nice to accompany me to my appointment. Once she was done getting ready, she grabbed the car keys and we walked to the car. "So Jenn, what's this appointment going to be for?" MaKenna asked. "I'm not exactly sure, but I contacted my doctor in LA about which appointment I should get, and he recommended that I get an ultrasound today, since I'm officially 17 weeks today." I replied. "It's been that fast? It doesn't seem like you're 17 weeks pregnant, Jenn." MaKenna said. "I know. It feels like I'm only 10 weeks." I replied. As we arrived at the doctor's office, we walked in and I had to check in with the nurse at the front desk. "Good Morning. I'm here for an appointment scheduled by Dr. Matthews in Los Angeles, California." I said. The nurse took a minute to look for my name on the appointment list. "Ok ma'am, follow me this way to your room, and the doctor will be with you shortly." The nurse said as she brought me to the room. MaKenna and I sat down in the room and waited for the doctor to come in. After 15 minutes of waiting, the doctor came in and sat down. "Hello Mrs. Saintgnue, it's very nice to meet you. I'm Dr. Lambert, and I'll be your doctor for today." Dr. Lambert smiled. "It's nice to meet you, Dr. Lambert." I smiled back as I shook hands. "So, from what your doctor in Los Angeles is telling me, you're 17 weeks today, and he wants you to have an ultrasound today, and if it's possible, he wants to have you find out the gender of your baby today." Dr. Lambert said. "Really? That's great!" I smiled. I laid down on the bed and the doctor prepared everything for the ultrasound.
I pulled my shirt up and he squeezed the gel onto my stomach. He moved the probe around to check on the baby's vitals. "Ok Mrs. Saintgnue, it looks like your "babies" are doing really well." The doctor said. "Wait, what do you mean by babies?" I asked as I looked over at the screen. "Congratulations Mrs. Saintgnue, you're having twins!" Dr. Lambert smiled. I looked at my cousin MaKenna and just smiled. "I can't even express how happy I am right now." I smiled. "My husband and I already have twin boys and a girl, and I can't wait to hear their reactions to when they hear that they're going to be big brothers and a big sister." I smiled. "Well, I am very happy for you both, and congratulations." Dr. Lambert said. "Thank you so much, doc! You've been a great help today!" I smiled. "It's my pleasure. Now let's see if we can find the genders of these babies today." Dr. Lambert smiled as he continued to move the probe around. It didn't even take Dr. Lambert 5 minutes to find out what the genders were. "Well, it didn't take me that long. It looks like Baby A is going to be a....Girl!" He smiled as he labeled where he found Baby A. "And it seems that Baby B is going to have to share with big brothers, because it's a....Boy!" Dr. Lambert smiled as he labeled where Baby B was. After the doctor was done, he rubbed the extra gel off my stomach and printed out the ultrasound pictures and gave them to me. "Thank you so much, Dr. Lambert. You've been such a great help for us today." I smiled. "It's my pleasure, Mrs. Saintgnue." He smiled. I put my shirt down and walked with my cousin MaKenna back to the car. Once we sat in the car, we decided to call my parents, who live in Illinois. 3 rings later, my Dad picked up. "Hey sweetie, how are you guys doing?" Dad answered. "We're doing great, Dad. How are you and Mom doing?" I asked. "We're doing amazing here, sweetie. How is your tour going?" Dad replied. "It's going great so far. I'm having so much fun with my friends!" I smiled. "That's great to hear, honey." Dad replied. "But anyways, the reason why we called is because I have some good news for you guys." I said. "What is that good news?" Mom asked. "Well, MaKenna and I just got out of my doctor's appointment that my doctor ha scheduled for me here in New Orleans, and we also got to find out the gender of the baby, or should I say, babies." I smiled as I looked at MaKenna. "Wait, what do you mean by "babies"?" Dad asked. I looked over at my cousin MaKenna, and she looked back at me. "I'm having Twins! A Girl and a Boy!" I screamed with happiness. "Wow, that's such great news to hear!! We are so happy for you and Cody." Dad said. "Thank you Dad." I smiled. "So, do you know when your due date is?" Mom asked. "Around November 17." I replied. "That's great!! Well, we're about to eat dinner soon, so we'll see you guys whenever you come visit us in Illinois." Dad smiled. "Ok, we love you guys!" I smiled. "We love you guys too!" Dad said as he hung up the call.
------March 19, 2025; Show Time------
It's time for the show to start, and I stayed back in the dressing room and watched the show from the TV that was in the room. We're in New Orleans, Louisiana tonight, so I should be expecting a lot of energy from the fans. And sure enough, that's what we got. The fans were so excited and ready to see the guys perform. First to perform tonight is Brian, then Chad, then Michael, then Madison, and me last. I wanted to look fresh for tonight, so I went to my clothes bag and picked out something comfortable to wear. Luckily, I had some extra leggings and an over sized t-shirt in my bag, so I quickly put that on and put my hair into a messy bun. I put my Toms on and sat down to watch the show. 45 minutes went by, and it was Chad's turn to perform. He was already by the stage, so he went on as quickly as he could. I was clapping and dancing along in his dressing room while he was performing, and I always have fun seeing my friends perform. Halfway through his performance, he called Michael, Brian, and Madison out to join him on stage, because he had an "announcement" to make. "Are you enjoying the show tonight, New Orleans?" Chad asked as the crowd screamed. "Now that's what I like to hear." Chad smiled. "So, I called Michael, Brian, and Madison out here on stage because I have a special announcement that I wanted to make, and I wanted them, and of course, you guys to be a part of it. But before I do that, I would like to call our beautiful friend and team leader out here on stage as well." Chad smiled. "If she takes a little long, as you guys know, she's pregnant, so she's going to take a little longer." He said. I slowly made my way towards the stage, as I was greeted by Madison and Michael to assist me on stage. The crowd screamed and clapped as I was walking on stage. "So Jenn, would you like to do the honors and tell everyone the good news you have?" Chad said. "I'd love to." I smiled. "So, as most of you guys already know, I am currently 17 weeks pregnant at the moment, which is about 4 months, and yesterday, I got to find out the gender of Cody and I's baby, or should we say, babies." I smiled. The fans were all looking at each other asking why I said "babies" and not "baby". I looked at my friends as I was getting ready to tell everyone. "We're having Twins, a Girl and a Boy!" I screamed with happiness. The fans, as well as Brian, Chad, Michael, and Madison, awed as everyone was happy for me and my husband Cody. After I made the announcement, the rest of us finished our sets and we enjoyed the rest of our night in New Orleans.
