------Many hours later; Dayton, Ohio------
Jennifer's POV
To my surprise, all the kids did so well during the 6 hour flight. I was honestly too shocked, because when all 5 kids are together, but separated, something will always happen between any of them, but this time, nothing happened. After we all got off the plane, we all met up by the nearest restaurant we saw, which was Starbucks. When we got together, the first thing that we did was get something to eat. By the time we left the airport, it was already lunch time, and it was perfect timing, because from Cody's understanding, he said that his Mom has guests over, being his cousins from Columbus, so we're really excited to see them. David went to grab all our luggages while Cody took Grayson and Liam and went to grab a rental car that fit all of us. After all of our luggages were gathered, David came back to see us and we all went together to grab Lycia Faith, Grayson, and Liam's carseats.
After 15 minutes went by, I got a text from Cody saying that he was on his way to get the rental car, so David, the kids, and I made our way outside the rental car pick up area to meet up with Cody. By the time we got outside, Cody was already waiting for us in a white 12-passenger van, which was perfect to fit all of us. David and Cody helped each other put the luggages in the back while I quickly got the carseats and the attachments in the correct seat. Once that was done, Cody and David put the carseats in and placed the kids in their seats. Once everybody was strapped in, we made our way to Cody's Mom's house.
Cody's POV
I am honestly so excited to see my Mom. It's been a long while since I've seen her, so the fact that we're here in Ohio to pay her a surprise visit, is such an amazing thing. And the best thing is, all 5 kids did super great on the flight here, which is unusual for us. Usually either one or all of the kids act up, but surprisingly, none of them did, which is a plus. My Mom's house is about 20 minutes away from the airport, so we made it within 15 minutes. When we got to the front of her house, I made sure that we parked somewhere far so that my family wouldn't see us, and we would just walk over to the house. It was a little bit of a struggle to get all 5 kids out of the car because Grayson and Liam were tired, Lycia Faith just fell asleep, and Elle and Daniel were slightly crying. But, it all went down right away. They all stopped being cranky once they heard we were at my Mom's house. Once we got to the front door, I immediately rang the door bell. After 2 minutes, I could hear someone coming towards the door. Once the door opened, it was my Aunt Candice who answered it. "Shhhhh, don't scream. My Mom doesn't know we're all here. It's a surprise!" I whispered. "Ohh, ok then. Follow me this way to the kitchen." She replied. We slowly all made our way to the kitchen, and all 5 kids surprisingly stayed quiet.
------In Aunt Candice's POV------
"Hey Brenda! There's a surprise at your door!! I let him bring it in, if that's ok!" I told Brenda. "Ok that's fine." She replied.
------Back to Cody's POV------
The seven of us decided that we would stay in the living room, while David would introduce us as the "surprise." David walked into the kitchen, and I could hear my Mom's reaction. "Ohh David, what are you doing here?" She asked. "Hello Mrs. Brenda, it's nice to finally meet you." He said as he gave her a hug. "Well, what brings me here is that, I have a big, more like "huge," surprise for you." He said. "What would that be?" She asked. I then heard David walking back towards where he left us. He gave us a signal that it was time for us to reveal the surprise. "Mrs. Brenda, here's the surprise!" David smiled as he showed his hands towards us. "Surprise Mom!" Jennifer and I shouted, as we were holding Grayson, Liam, and Lycia Faith. We left Elle and Daniel in the living room first because we couldn't carry them all at once. "OH MY GOSH!!!" Mom shouted as she saw us. "What are you guys doing here?" She said as she started to cry. "It was Cody's idea to come here and surprise you, since we haven't seen you in so long." Jennifer smiled as she gave Mom a hug.
"So, this the first time you'll be seeing Elle and Daniel in person, huh?" I smiled. "Yes, and I'm very excited. Where are they?" She asked. "They're in the living room. Jenn will grab them." I smiled.
Jennifer's POV
I went to go grab Elle and Daniel and present them to Cody's Mom. When I brought them in, I can already see the tears in her face. "Here they are. Elle Jaedyn and Daniel Cody." I smiled as I set them down on the floor. "Oh my gosh, they are both beautiful. Can I hold them?" She smiled with tears. "Of course you can! Who do you want to hold first?" Cody smiled. "Whoever is easier to grab." I smiled. I told David to go ahead and grab Daniel first since he was the one awake, and Elle was sleeping. "This is your new grandson, Daniel Cody Saintgnue." David smiled as he slowly handed Daniel over to Cody's Mom. "Wow Son, he's beautiful. He's such a blessing." Mom smiled with tears in her eyes. "Thank you, Mom. He looks just like my wife, in my opinion." Cody smiled. "But you have Elle, who is basically your carbon copy." She smiled. "I agree with you, Mom. Elle definitely, for sure, looks like Cody." I smiled.
Cody's Mom held Daniel for the next 20 minutes, when Elle decided to wake up when she heard Cody's voice. But instead of crying, she was actually smiling. Cody grabbed her from her carseat and picked her up. "And this is Elle Jaedyn." Cody smiled. His Mom handed Daniel over to me, and handed Elle over to her. She held Elle for the past 45 minutes while we continued to talk about family and other things.
