Jennifer's POV

Just as I thought that my twins were born perfectly healthy, I was totally wrong. Just a few hours after the twins were born, I noticed that when I was in my hospital room, that Baby Elle was looking a little blue, more like a purple color. Which is a definite sign that she's wasn't breathing, or, she stopped breathing. Cody immediately called a nurse and a doctor, and then came running to my room within seconds of each other. They immediately grabbed Elle and brought her straight to the nursery. Baby Daniel stayed with us because he was perfectly fine. Cody quickly ran over to the nursery to check on how baby Elle was doing. At this point, I was really nervous because I had no idea on what was going on with my daughter. I was crying, freaking out, and everything else a mother would do.

After a few hours went by, Cody came back with some news. "Babe, bad news." Cody looked at me with a worried face. "Just tell me. What happened to our daughter?" I asked Cody. "I can't really describe it too well, but, she was pretty much diagnosed with Asthma. So, we really need to watch her breathing very carefully." Cody replied. At least, there was some relief taken off my chest. But at the same time, I'm still really worried about my daughter's condition. "Dr. Matthews should be coming in pretty soon to tell you about everything." Cody said. After a few minutes went by, Dr. Matthews came in to tell me about what happened. "So Mrs. Saintgnue, I'm guessing your husband already told you about what happened. So, your daughter Elle was diagnosed with Asthma. Luckily we were able to catch it early, so she doesn't have the severe kind that babies can get." Dr. Matthews said. At this point, I had some sign of relief that my daughter should be ok. "So, will she need an inhaler as much when she's older?" I asked. "Yes, but she'll only need to use it for when she plays sports and those kinds of things. Or if she feels like she short of breath. That's pretty much it." He replied. "Thank you so much, Dr. Matthews. I'm so glad to hear that my daughter will be ok." I replied as I took a deep breath.

"Don't worry, Mrs. Saintgnue. Elle is going to be perfectly fine." He smiled. After Dr. Matthews left, I was able to visit my daughter Elle in the nursery after a few hours. I wasn't allowed to visit her at first because they wanted to make sure that her breathing was ok and that her lungs are taking every breath, which was totally fine with me. I really want to make sure that everything with my daughter will be ok.
