------9 months later------
Today is September 25, 2028, and it is the day that I am giving birth to my baby girl. And I'm surprised that I'm giving birth on time because from what I've been feeling, it felt like baby Chicago was going to come early. I went into the hospital for a scheduled induction. It's sad that Cody isn't here because he had to make sure that all the kids, from Grayson to Liam to Lycia Faith and to Elle and Daniel, were staying at a safe place while I was giving birth. It is now 4:30 am and I am scheduled to be induced at 6:00 am. I drove to the hospital by myself in Cody's car since Cody took my car to drive all the kids. My parents and brother said that they would come later on and see me once they have things done at their places. When I arrived at the hospital, I grabbed my bags, including Chicago's diaper bag with her clothes and stuff and walked in. I went up to the Labor & Delivery floor and checked in. The nurse brought me to my room and helped me get settled in. I dropped my stuff on the couch and grabbed my hospital gown and went to the bathroom and put it on. After I put it on, I sat down in the rocking chair and looked at my phone for a few minutes. As I was looking through my social media outlets, I decided to take a selfie in the mirror, placing my hand on my belly, and post it on Twitter and Instagram. The caption for both read, *Can't believe that I will get to meet my baby girl in a few hours (heart emoji)* Within a few seconds, there were so many likes, retweets, and comments coming in saying "Congratulations," "Can't wait to meet baby Chicago," and many others. I was starting to get emotional, just by reading the comments that everyone was posting. After I was looking at my phone, it was 6:00 am, and I got a call from my Dad. "Hey sweetie, are you at the hospital?" I answered the call. "Hey Dad. Yes, I'm at the hospital. I just got dressed into my hospital gown, and they should be getting me set for my IV in a few minutes." I replied. "That's good. Well, your Mom just got a text from Cody and he said that he should be arriving there in about 30 or so minutes, right after he drops off Elle and Daniel with their babysitter." Dad said. "Ok that's great. I'll see you guys later then." I replied. "We'll see you soon honey, and remember, we love you." Dad said. "I love you guys, too." I said as I hung up the call.
A few minutes later, the nurse came in and got my IV set up. Once the IV was stuck in my arm, I felt the pressure of the needle. The nurse left and I was left alone again in my room. An hour after the nurse left, I was getting another phone call. This time, it was from Cody. "How's my baby doing?" I answered the phone call. "Hey babe. I'm doing fine. The nurse just put the IV in me, so I should be getting my pitocin in a few minutes or so." I replied. "That's great to hear. I should be there in about 25-30 minutes or so after I drop off Elle and Daniel with their babysitter, and I can't wait to see you." Cody said. "I can't wait to see you too, baby." I replied. As I was talking to Cody, the nurse came back to start my pitocin. "Hey baby, I have to go. I'm about to get my pitocin in. I'll see you later, I love you." I told Cody. "I love you too, baby." Cody said as I hung up the call. "Sorry, that was my husband on the phone." I apologized to the nurse. "No you're fine. Is your husband out of town, ma'am?" The nurse asked. "No. He was on the way to drop off our twins with their babysitter." I smiled. "That's great. Hopefully he'll be here when the baby comes." The nurse smiled. Once the nurse started my pitocin, she slowly started to recognize who I was. "Wait a second..... aren't you David Scarzone's sister?" The nurse asked. "Yes I am." I smiled. "Jennifer Scarzone-Saintgnue, nice to meet you." I smiled as I put my hand out to shake her hand. "My name is Hannah." She smiled as I shook her hand. "I'll be your nurse when you're here in the hospital." She smiled. After Hannah and I chatted for a few minutes, she left to go back to work. 20 minutes later, the pitocin started to kick in. But, once it started to kick in, I was getting the reaction other mothers get when it kicks in, but on top of that, I was feeling something else. I started to feel really clammy and sweaty, even though the temperature in the room wasn't even hot or cold.
