------5 months later; 20 weeks pregnant------
Jennifer's POV
These past 5 months have been so crazy. The morning sickness I've been getting has been much worse than the times when I had my other kids. Something like I've never felt before. But, today should be a fun time because today is the day that I get to find out whether Cody and I are having a boy or a girl. I'm honestly really hoping for a Girl, but whatever I am given, I will be blessed either way. It's unfortunate that Cody couldn't come today because he had a ton of stuff to work on, but, I'm still going with my Mom, which is awesome that she gets to come with me. When we got to the hospital, I went ahead upstairs to where my ultrasound will take place. My Mom followed behind me, and waited for me in the waiting room until my name was called. "Saintgnue." The nurse called my name and I stood up and walked with her. My Mom stayed in the waiting room until I was finished with my appointment.
------Inside the ultrasound room------
As I was laying down on the bed, I heard the door open. "Good Afternoon Mrs. Saintgnue. I'm guessing you're here to check up on your baby." The ultrasound technician smiled. "Yes, that's why I'm here." I replied. I lifted up my shirt so she could squeeze the gel on my stomach. She grabbed the probe and started moving it around my stomach. "Ohh, I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Anna and I'll be your technician today." She smiled. "It's nice to meet you, Anna." I smiled. As she was moving the probe around, she checked for a few things, like the arms, legs, hands, etc. "It looks like everything with the baby looks perfect. Ten fingers, ten toes, it's all complete." Anna smiled. I was all smiles because I was happy to know that my baby is doing really well. "So, I know you would ask, there is only one baby this time." Anna giggled. I just giggled along because I was blessed to be having one baby. "So, are you wanting to know the gender today, or would you want to find out when you give birth?" Anna asked. "I was honestly hoping to find out today. My husband is really excited to find out." I giggled. "Ok, we'll find out today." She smiled. Anna moved the probe around for a few more minutes before she was able to find what the gender of my baby is. "So, it looks like we'll be adding another..... Ms. Saintgnue to the world. Congratulations, It's A Girl!" Anna smiled as she confirmed that I was having a Girl.
I was so happy that I'm having another Girl. This means that I'll officially have 3 boys and 3 girls. For those who don't know, I have 5 kids. 2 sets of twins, two boys and 1 boy and 1 girl, and 1 beautiful little girl. It's also a plus, because I already have a name for my baby girl. It's also a plus because Cody will have no idea if I went with the name we talked about or not. Oh my gosh, now I have an idea on how to reveal the gender, as well as the name. After my appointment was over, I went straight to the party store and got some supplies to reveal the gender and name. Today was just a perfect timing because most of my family from Illinois and Florida are visiting, and they're coming over to my house, so Cody is entertaining them at the moment. I was able to find all the supplies I needed at the party store. The idea I decided on was pretty simple, which was having a double-sided chalkboard, with one side reveal what the gender is, and on the other side will the name I chose. After buying the supplies, I made my way home to be with my family.
------A few minutes later------
When I got home, I saw that Cody was playing with Grayson and Liam outside, along with my cousin Gracelynn's kids, Emerson and Gabrielle. Liam immediately saw my car pulling by the sidewalk. "Daddy, Mommy home!" He shouted. Cody looked up and saw me grabbing things from the car. "Hi babe!" He shouted and smiled at me. "Hi baby!" I smiled and waved. "Mommy!" Grayson and Liam shouted as they ran towards me. "There are my handsome babies." I smiled as I kissed their foreheads. "What do you have there, babe?" Cody asked. "Well, I officially know the gender of our baby, and I have a perfect name picked out, so I bought supplies for the gender/name reveal, and since most of my family is here, I might as well reveal it today while they're here." I smiled. "Ok, well, let's go inside then." Cody smiled as he brought Grayson and Liam in. While Cody went to go entertain the family, I quickly ran upstairs to get everything prepared. 10 minutes went by, and I finally had everything prepared. "Guys, I hear Jennifer coming downstairs, let's be ready!" I heard Cody say as I was walking down the stairs. "Ok guys, since mostly everyone is here, I thought I would reveal this special surprise to everyone." I smiled. "What is that in your hand, sister?" David asked. "Well, what I have in my hand, David, is what will reveal your new niece or nephew." I smiled. I turned around so I can pull the towel that I had covering the one side of the chalkboard.
"So, I went to my doctor's appointment today, and I'm so happy to reveal to you guys that it's a...." I paused as I turned around. "A Girl!!!" I smiled as the whole family screamed with happiness. "Oh my gosh, I'm so happy for you, my dear!" My aunt Darcy smiled. "Thank you so much, Aunt Darcy." I smiled as I gave her a hug. After everyone gave me hugs, it was time to reveal the name I have chosen for my baby girl. "So, the name I decided to go with for our baby girl is....." I paused as I grabbed a piece of chalk to write down the name on the other side. After 5 minutes, it was time to reveal the name. "So, the name for our baby girl that I have chosen is....." I paused, as I turned around to reveal the name.
