------4 months later------
It is now 4:30 am on October 19, 2025. It is the day after my daughter Lycia Faith's birthday, and I am scheduled to have my induction for the twins this morning. I was awake by 3:30 am and ready by 4:00 am. It has also been 4 months since the twins and Cody had their terrible car accident. They are all doing much better now, and I am so blessed that they are still alive and with me today. My induction is scheduled for 6:30 am, so Cody and I left the house by 5:00 am to be there by 6:00 am. When we arrived, I walked inside to sign in while Cody grabbed the hospital bags and brought them inside. Grayson and Liam are staying with my brother while Lycia Faith is staying with my parents. After I was checked in, I was immediately called to my room after 15 minutes.
Once I got to my room, the nurse assisted me with my hospital gown and everything. After 20 minutes, I was all dressed and ready for my IVs to be put in. Cody went back to sleep in the couch next to the hospital bed because he didn't sleep until midnight, and then had to wake up with me at 4:00 am. The past 30 minutes went by, and all my IVs and needles were already put in. "Mrs. Saintgnue, we'll be back in about 30 minutes or so to get your pitocin started." My nurse smiled. "Ok. Thank you so much." I replied. "My pleasure." She smiled back. It is now 8:45 am, and it's time to kick off my pitocin. Once it was set and started, I was told that I was supposed to feel the pain in about 15 minutes or so. And sure enough, the pain has officially begun. Once my back started hurting, everything else started to hurt. It was actually hurting so bad, I accidentally woke Cody up. "Babe, is everything ok?" He asked as he was waking up. "No. My back hurts really bad." I replied as I moved around in pain. "Do you want me to call the nurse?" Cody asked. I signaled for him to call my nurse, and he did so. My nurse came in within 2 minutes of being called. Cody talked to her about the pain I've been feeling for the past 30 minutes. "Let me see if Dr. Matthews has arrived yet, and I will have him check on you immediately!" My nurse said as she ran to check for my doctor. After 20 minutes go by, my nurse comes back, running in with Dr. Matthews. He quickly goes in to check and see how far I've dilated.
He whispered something to my nurse, and she shook her head. "So, what does this mean, Dr. Matthews?" Cody asked. "It's great news. Your wife is at a 10, so in about 10 more minutes, we should start pushing." He smiled. "Babe, they're almost here. Elle and Daniel are almost here." Cody smiled as he gave me a kiss on my forehead. 15 minutes later, some nurses came in and got everything prepared for Elle and Daniel to arrive.
------After 45 minutes of pushing; 10:26 am------
And, she is officially here! My daughter Elle Jaedyn Saintgnue is born! She is so beautiful, I am already in love even more. She was brought to my chest right away and I kissed her for the first time. I looked at Cody and saw tears coming from his eyes. He gave me a kiss on my lips and we patiently waited for our son Daniel to be born.
------30 more minutes later; 10:56 am------
And, he's here! My son Daniel Cody Saintgnue came into the world, healthy and most handsome as ever. To be honest, he looks so much like Cody. In fact, both of them, Elle and Daniel, look very much like Cody. When Grayson and Liam were born, they looked exactly like Cody, but as they got older, they started to look like me. When our daughter Lycia Faith was born, she looked very much like me. And still to this day, she still looks like me. And this time, Elle and Daniel look very much like Cody. This birth was very successful, and I couldn't have had it any other way possible.
(A.N. - After the first day that the twins were born, Cody and I had a mini photoshoot with them where we put our wedding rings on their toes and took a picture of it. And it was the cutest thing that I have ever seen. A picture of what the picture would look like is posted above.)
