From the late 90's onto now we've been getting movies based on recognizable intellectual properties, some were good, others....not so much.

Now that I sat through the worst, I can go onto the best! Here we go with my picks for the Top 5 Best Movies Based on TV Cartoons.

5) Phineas and Ferb Across the 2nd Dimension:

I wasn't going to include DCOMs (Disney Channel Original Movies) but I could resist this gem as it was a good Phineas and Ferb Movie, plus the show was supposed to have an Actual movie but its in development hell right now, anyway this does answer the question about how would Phineas and Ferb Handle their pet platypus Perry as a secret agent, not very well because Phineas felt betrayed, and Ferb.... Says nothing because its Ferb. Also I found out this had a wide release in Spain...for some reason.

4) Mickey's Magical Christmas: Snowed in at The House of Mouse:

Okay so this was just a hodgepodge of Random Mickey Mouse Cartoons, but its for Christmas so what did you expect? As all this was is a 90 minute episode of the early 2000's cartoon House of Mouse, a show I foundly remember and look back for nostalgia, this was A good movie even though it rarely airs on Disney now, but I think you can find it online, wait hold on give me a sec to check.

3) PowerPuff Girls The Movie

As described as the perfect origin story for the three beloved girls who kicked ads, something that the reboot got wrong, anyway this was good but unfortunately it was a box office flop as it's cost to make was $11million, and barely made back the budget at $16.4million, then again that was Cartoon Network's fault for, and I'm not making this up, targeting it to 25 year old men......Uh.............I'm very concerned right now.

2) The SpongeBob Squarepants Movie:

Unlike the 2015 sequel, this one worked as it was a great movie, the story line followed very well and was one of me and my friends favorite movies from childhood.

Honorable Mention:

South Park Bigger Longer and Uncut:

I wasn't going to include it because this, well it really pushed the R rating to the point it was almost considered NC-17 here in America, wow, probably a good thing I didn't include this, mainly because they got an Oscar Nomination for the song, "Blame Canada," I prefer the song where Cartman called Kyle's mom a bitch in my opinion.

Anyway onto the final part of the countdown:

1) The Simpsons Movie:

This was a good movie it was an extended episode of the Simpsons.

But also at the beginning Homer stated this:

"I can't believe we paid to see something we get on TV for Free, if you ask me Everyone in this theater is a giant sucker, especially YOU!"

First off, Homer, Don't break the fourth wall that's Deadpool's job.

Secondaly, why do we even have these movies based off of TV Shows, their the reason why we don't have any 2D Animated Movies in theaters, that aren't made in Japan, because of these movies we all switched to CGI movies, except does anyone care for CGI now since its standard, Sometell Disney to make Gigantic a 2D movie now, I don't care if its 2017 and everything has to be CGI but can we get a change from the norm every once in a while?

Sorry for the rant, anyway if there's anything I missed put it in the comments and I will see you guys next time.
