No matter how old you are, you probably don't remember a time when the Simpsons wasn't on TV.

But they are infamous for one thing, predicting the future correctly!

That is funny because the writers are self aware of the predictions.

So today to start 2018, I'm counting down the Top 5 Times The Simpsons Predicted the Future.

I'm going with my favorites, but I will also leave the elephants of the room out.

Yeah in all honesty it didn't take a genius to tell you that was gonna happen, remember its Disney.

Speaking if which:

5) Star Wars Galaxy's Edge:

Afree Lisa mentions "DIZNEE," buying out, "COSMIC WARS," they show a bunch a random Star Wars knock offs running around knock off Disneyland. Surprisingly this aired months before Disney made the announcement that they are building the now named, "Star Wars Galaxy's Edge," themed land at Disneyland in California and at Disney's Hollywood Studios in Orlando, yeah I still don't know why it's called that.

4) The FIFA Scandal:

Apparetly a year after The Simpsons aired an episode of them in Brazil for the 2014 FIFA World Cup, which also predicted the winner would be Germany, they mentioned a Coruption Scandal, and as you can take a wild guess, it actually happened.

3) Video Calling:

In the Season 6 episode, "Lisa's Wedding," a scene showed Lisa Using a Phone with a Video Screen showing Marge and her movements, also for no reason Marge Barely Aged a Day in this episode......then again when do they ever age? Anyway I think about a decade ago or something, put Computers started Video Calling and Now Our Phones and Tablets can be used to Video Calling. Also in the same episode, They also predicted the Smart Watch.

2) Wrecking Ball:

I know Wrecking Balls have been around for.....I don't know, but I'm talking about, this Wrecking Ball:

Yes, Miley Ripped off Homer, except Homer had the decency to leave his clothes on.

And pretty much the one that makes me laugh the most.

1) I'm a Sign, Not A Cop!:

I know that seems incredibly stupid, but here me on this, someone actually did this. In 2013 during the Government Shutdown, even though many government owned Parks were closed, everyone ignored the paper signs on gates! It's a Paper Sign, Not a Cop, so in other terms, Who gets arrested by a Piece of Paper?
