What did you think this has a set date? Nope!
This are my picks for the Top 5 Halloween Hidden Gems.
These are TV Specails, TV Episodes, and Movies.
Also no Simpson s TreeHouse of Horror Episodes, that isn't Hidden, but it is also a list for another day.
5) The Scariest Story Ever: A Mickey Mouse Halloween Spooktacular!:
This special has yet to Air on TV but has been released online on The Disney Now App and on DVD, but will Premiere on TV here in the US on Sunday, Everywhere else....I don't know, hopefully this year, since it is Halloween Time. To my International Readers, you might have to check your TV Scheduale to see.
Now this special is About Mickey Mouse, in his 2013 incarnation, telling spooky stories to Donald's Nephews, Huey Dewey and Louie, who aren't voiced by their Ducktales 2017 Counterparts, and Mickey's Nephews, Morty and Ferdie, who make their first appearance in a Disney cartoon in over 30 years, and Mickey turns out to be, well, not scary, someone has clearly never watched all The Mickey Mouse cartoons made by Walt Disney, he went into some weird shit, I would say how it ends but it hasn't premiered yet on TV for some of you, so I will zip my lip on that.
4) Fairly OddParents: Scary GodParents:
That's right I'm talking about the only Halloween special made for Fairly OddParents. This episode had Timmy and his Friends not getting any Candy on Halloween while the Popular Kids, Trixie, Veronica, Tad, and Chad, getting literally everything. Mainly because the Popular kids got the cool costumes while Timmy and his friends got the Bland, generic costumes that year, and also had to give all their candy to Vicky, so Timmy made a wish so everyone who is wearing the costume becomes the Character/Monster/Etc they are dressed as. So basically it's Halloweentown 2 the animated special. Obviously like all of Timmy's Wishes something goes real wrong, and at the end it goes back to normal. But I think a main selling point to this episode is the pretty catchy song used in this song.
hold on let me look for something that wasn't made via potato.
Imagine playing this at the club on Halloween night along side Michael Jackson's Thriller, AronChupa's I'm and Albatraoz, and Taylor Swift. Wait Taylor Swift?
Okay that make sense.
3) Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island:
Oh boy another Scooby-Doo movie! Said no one ever, believe it or not there was once a time when we had a gap between Scooby-Doo Movies, this movie changed all that. This movie has Scooby and the gang in their usual ordeal, but there is one problem, you know how in every episode of Scooby-Doo they never figure out the monster is just a man in a mask? Well not this time, the monsters are real. I think RebelTaxi made a better explained this:
2) The Haunting Hour: Don't Think About It:
Yes, a movie with the Involvement of one of my Favorite authors RL Stine, yes the same man behind Goosebumps, which was also an inspiration for Gravity Falls I might add. Now this is about a teenage girl, played by Emily Osment from Hannah Montana, finding her little brother who gets kidnapped by a monster on Halloween, this is one of the few direct to video movies based off of RL Stine's work. I mentioned direct to video so it is easy to find if anyone is interested in watching this, and yes I checked it is available on Netflix.
Honorable mention:
Scary Godmother:
I was originally going to put this on my list as it is one of those, Every freaking year types of specials that no one watches unless its on. But yesterday Nostalgia Critic posted his review of it, which will go right here:
1) The Simpsons: Halloween of Horror:
My own rules prevented me from putting Treehouse of Horror episodes on this list but this isn't one of those episodes. In season 27 of the Simpsons, they had 2 Halloween episodes, one where it goes like a normal episode, and the traditional Treehouse of Horror. I'm talking about the normal episode here. So Homer takes the kids to Krustyland's Halloween Horror Night, not to be confused with Universal Studios' Halloween Horror Nights, where she get so scared, homer takes down all of the Halloween decorations, which pisses off Bart because he was having a terrible day, from getting his pirate Costume taken away for being to, "Offensive," and not getting to go Trick or Treating because, well, fuck him apparently. To make matters worse, Homer and Lisa get invaded by a bunch of guys who recently got fired from a Halloween PopUp Shop, and before you ask, that is a store that is usually opened for Halloween only, I'm telling my international readers that. All in all a normal Simpson episode.
Do you guys know of any other Halloween Hidden Gems, tell me in the comments below.
