Before I start I want to thank rewrite for giving me the idea.

Oh America, we can never do anything foreign right!

Sure we can make our own version of the Got Talent show, but I'm not talking about reality show, I'm talking what our country did to one of Japan's biggest exports, ANIME!

Anything that was made in Japan and remade in the US always end up being sh💩t.

These are my picks for the Top 5 Worst American Adaptions of Japanese Anime.

5) Death Note:

Oh, Netflix isn't even safe from this list. TedStrange knows that this is Crap, because he talked about it in a comment once. Long story short, this completely ignored the anime. For crying out loud it doesn't take a genius to tell you that the Death Note is a Book you wrote a name in and then the person dies! And lets just say there's some people I say shouldn't have that book, and Nat Wolff, who stars in the movie, is one of them.

4) Speed Racer:

Oh god, those colors! This movie manage to use Litterally every color in the Crayola box at once. And I kid you not this movie was made by the same people made by The Wachowski Siblings, the same duo for the Matrix Movies! While tryong their best following the anime detail by detail, my mind can't get over the fact they used all infinity shades of Colors!

THERE IS SUCH A THING AS USING TOO MANY COLORS!!!!!!

3) Astroboy:

Actually this both America and Hong Kong's Fault. Astroboy is one of my favorite anime as a kid, and I'm not talking about the early 2000's series that everyone forgot about. I'm talking about the original Astroboy from the 1960's.

That's how I roll when it comes to Astroboy. But the film, really wasn't that bad. It just relied too much on the fact the movie had some pretty big names in the cast, including Kristen Bell, Donald Sutherland, Charlize Theron, and Nicolas Cage. And it did terrible in the Box Office, so bad 5 months after release, the Hong Kong animation studio who produced the film, Imagi Studios, shut down. And this wasn't the only major movie they made, they also did the 2007 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movie no one remembers. Well, in all fairness I think its safe to assume these guys weren't going to compete with DreamWorks and Disney.

2) Ghost in a Shell:

Ugh, WHITEWASHING! Is it really that hard to find Asian actors in Hollywood now?

How is it the anime that inspired countless action films of the early 2000's manage to create the most controversial movie of Scarlet Johanson's career?

1) Dragonball Evolution:

.................I'M SO NOT DOING THIS!

Serriously?

Do you want me to break something like when Fast and Furious Broke me?

Good Point! Honest Trailer then?

Bingo!

Its so bad that I refuse to talk about it!

I had to take the Cheaters way out on that one. Its not just bad, its an Insult.

Insult level: 9001.

And yes I see what I did there
