Pearl POV
I sighed. I still had the path that only had parts to it on my mind. Why didn't I know Steven? Why couldn't I remember? It was all so confusing! I sighed as I shook my head, trying not to worry too much or over think things.
"What's bothering you, P? I heard Amethyst ask. I smiled. It was fake but it looked like I fooled Amethyst. I hate lying but, sometimes you have to use it. "So?" I sighed.
"I..." I breathed in and sighed. "When Garnet showed me the new path she found, I saw Steven. Only, my mind wouldn't recognize him. I-I don't know why it happened!" I cried. Amethyst looked so confused. "Of course, I don't think you'll understand. I don't think even Garnet will understand. I guess we'll just have to wait until... Oh, my..." I couldn't finish my sentence. I noticed something different about Steven. He was now as tall as Amethyst, his hair was turning curly like Rose's, and he had pink streaks in his hair. Just like the... Steven from... the path...
But still,why couldn't I remember him?
