My eyes adjust to the brightness of the room I just walked into.
The room is painted black along with all of the furniture, the light seeps in from the small gap in the curtains. there are two entrances, one of them being the door I just walked through, the other being another door in the corner. Men wearing black suits stand by the doors and I can only assume that they are guards.
I must admit I feel slightly terrified by the whole situation and especially by Kael who has taken a seat on the black leather sofa and is eyeing me, menacingly.
I gulp and sit down on the identical sofa opposite him, my hands shake a little from his words earlier.
'So...' Kael's voice is low, intimidating, 'you must be wondering why you're here'
My heart is beating so loud and fast, it's practically thumping out of my chest. I'm too scared to talk, so I manage to slowly nod.
Kael only smirks at my response, 'it's actually your little boyfriend that I want.'
My eyes shoot up from the floor to his uncomfortable handsome face, my stomach dropping. What could he want with Marcus?
'Why?' I manage to squeak out, clenching my fists slightly. I'd hate to think that anyone would hurt Marcus because of me, he doesn't deserve that.
'Well he knows information about someone that I would like to meet.' Kael's eyes gleam slightly.
My eyebrows knit together in confusion, who could Marcus possibly know who would have anything to do with Kael?
'He isn't my boyfriend' I snap and glare at Kael.
This only amuses him further, an antagonising smile plays on his lips,
'I think you should know that this morning when we went to fetch him, somebody had already beaten us to it, we found an empty syringe, once carrying wolfsbane, and blood all over the floor.' He finishes.
I can't breathe, all I want to do is to punch him. Does this mean Marcus is dead? Or worse. Is he kidnapped and being tortured while I'm here having a "friendly" discussion with this psychopath.
I find myself standing up, 'we have to find him!' I say, my voice is loud but Kael doesn't even flinch, instead he simply looks up at me with a blank expression on his face.
'Where do you suppose we look, Miss Jonas?' He raises an eyebrow.
I put my hands on my hips, 'it's creepy that you know my name but that's besides the point. If you want to know whatever it is that you want from Marcus then you'd better help me find him, Mr.' I snarl. This earns more of a reaction from Kael than I expected when he suddenly bursts out laughing. I narrow my eyes at the thought of him finding any of this amusing.
'This isn't funny!' I half shout at him, this just causes him to roll his eyes.
'Do you not think that I've tried to track him down' he questions me, a hint of malice laces his voice.
Suddenly I feel uneasy and I sit back down in the chair, what he says makes sense but I still don't trust this man.
'This is where you come in, my dear.' He continues, and my stomach twists by what he just called me.
'Don't call me that.' I mutter, my dislike for Kael is growing stronger by the minute but we need each other and that's how it will have to be.
He completely ignores me and carries on with his speech, 'I need you to find him for me.' He finishes.
I stare at him for what seems like hours, when in fact it is about a second, before replying, 'how am I supposed to find him? Aren't you the guy that tracks him?'
He sighs, 'what I mean is that we may have already found him, but it is just more practical if you go in there instead of me.'
'How so?' I question.
'Because if you find him then he'll trust you to help him escape whereas he's never met me before.' Kael rolls his eyes. I see where he is coming from it's just he's not the most trustworthy person I've met, in fact he's probably the polar opposite of that.
'And what if I get caught?' I challenge, Kael's expression still doesn't change.
'We'll put a camera on you to see what you're doing, if you do get caught we'll know exactly when to come and get you both.' He says simply.
I sigh and chew my bottom lip, as much as I didn't want to do this, I knew it could be the only way to save Marcus from whatever terrible thing that could be happening to him right now. I shiver at the thought then bring my eyes back up to Kael's cold, green ones.
'Okay. I'll do it.' I say.
Kael's mouth twists into a smirk, he licks his bottom lip.
'Perfect.' He says, 'then let's get you ready'

I feel weak. And I hate it. I've always hated feeling weak. And that's exactly how I feel this second.
I feel the pain in my neck before I remember what happened before I blacked out, the needle, the wolfsbane, who did it?
Slowly I open an eye and sit up so I can adjust to the light in the room, I wince as pain rushes through my neck, that needle was pretty big.
I look around, I'm in a fairly big, white room, lying on a soft bed. I frown, why would my kidnapper make me so comfortable?
The door creaks open, awakening me from my thoughts, a hooded figure steps into the room, I clench my fists, ready to put up a fight if needed. Even though I still feel some wolfsbane in my system, I will try to protect myself if harm comes my way.
'Who are you?' I growl lowly.
The figure reaches for their hood and pulls it down in one swift movement, my eyes lock with another pair of familiar, chocolate brown eyes.
My heart drops in defeat.
'Jasper.' I breathe.
'Hello, brother.'

I'm on a writing spree today!! So many ideas are springing to mind and I'm so happy about it.
And yes don't mind the TVD reference at the end it's my favourite show :D
So turns out there are two hooded figures but which was the one at the airport??
What's your guys opinion on Kael? Do you trust him? No spoilers but he is going to be a major part to the series, especially in the next two books ;)
