The shock I feel right now is consuming, the way Marcus' lips feel against mine right now sends sparks throughout my entire body, from the top of my head right to the end of my toes. As I slowly start to kiss back against his lips, I move my hands from their original position beside my sides, to his face. My arms wrap around Marcus' neck while his hands slide down from my cheeks to my waist. The kiss is slow yet full of passion and I can't help but feel myself wanting even more.

After a while he pulls away, leaving me shocked, I don't know what on earth im supposed to say to him after that. I don't think there is anything I can say. The only thing I can do is stand there, my breaths heavy, staring into his big brown eyes. We stand thet for a few seconds before he takes a step back, leaving an empty feeling inside of my chest.

'Let's go.' Marcus says before walking out of the room.

What?

Is he not even going to acknowledge the fact he just kissed me? Like at all?

I have no choice but to follow Marcus out of the room, almost smacking into his hard back straight after.

'Why are you just standing there?' My words come out quiet, but I know he heard me.

'Jasper's gone.' He states, I raise my head from the floor and look around,

He's right. Jasper isn't where I left him 5 minutes ago, the room is empty.

'I'm sure he's somewhere downstairs.' I explain, Marcus shakes his head.

'No, his scent is nowhere. I would smell him.'

I know he's right. Jasper is his brother, if anyone could smell him it would be Marcus.

'I'm sure you'll find him.' I reassure Marcus, placing my small hand on his firm shoulder.

He shrugs my hang off, I quickly pull my hand back to my chest in shock.

What the hell?

'Yeah. Okay.' He dismisses me and strides across the room to the door.

I almost have to run to keep up with Marcus' large strides as we make our way downstairs. When he reaches the end of the stairs Marcus turns to face me.

'How did you get here?'

I pause before answering, 'I climbed up a drainpipe.' I admit, blushing.

Marcus stares at me for a few seconds before a small ghost of a smile plays on his really nice looking lips.

'Really?' He grins.

Uhhh is he bipolar of something?

'...yeah.' I look up at him, our eyes making contact. My breath catches in my throat as soon as they do.

He sighs before turning around and pressing the button to the lift.

Well that would've been easier.

The lift opens and we both step inside.

As the lift starts to move down, I remember the deal I made with Kael.

'I promised someone that I'd take you to them.' I say to Marcus.

He clenches his jaw and looks at me, his eyes cold.

'Who?'

'A guy called Kael, it's okay he helped me find you.' I stare at the floor, clearly intimidated by Marcus and his cold icy stare.

'As long as you trust him.' Marcus finally agrees after a long silence.

I snap my eyes back up from the floor, his eyes have softened and he looks more tired than he should.

'I do.' I tell him, Marcus nods just as the doors to the lift open, we walk out of the building.

Just as Kael said, a black car with blacked out windows is parked outside. I walk to it and open the door, getting in the back seat and sliding across.

Marcus looks wary of the car but finally gets in aswell, moving across so he's next to me. He takes an unsure glance at the men in black suits driving the car, but I give him a reassuring smile so he knows everything's okay.

As we start driving back to Kael's place my mind wanders to the moment Marcus and I shared earlier. Why hasn't he said anything about it. It kinda seems to me that he's ignoring the whole situation which somewhat makes me upset.

As much as I hate to admit it, that was my first kiss with a boy, if you don't count jimmy who I kissed when I was 5. But that was for a dare so I don't tend to count it. It was also a lot different than I expected it to be, Marcus caught me completely by surprise, not that I'm complaining in the slightest. His lips were so warm and it was as if they fitted perfectly against mine. The memory brings a smile to my lips and I glance over at Marcus who seems to none lost in thought, staring out the window.

The car pulls up outside Kael's building and I step out of the car, Marcus out of the other side, he still looks worried, causing me to frown slightly.

Does he not trust me?

The men in suits escort us inside and into the room with the black sofas that I was in earlier today.

Kael is sitting in the sofa in the back corner. His signature smirk is plastered across his face.

'Hello, love. Glad to see you didn't fall off the drainpipe' he sneers in his incredibly British accent.

I force a laugh but shoot him a cold glare, just causing him to smirk more.

'Come, sit down.' He gestures to the sofa opposite to the one he is sitting on.

I glance at Marcus before doing as Kael says, Marcus sits next to me and he is clearly uncomfortable being here.

'So,' Kael begins, drawing his blue-gray eyes to Marcus, 'you must be Marcus.'

Marcus nods slowly, 'that's me.'

Kael's eyes glint in the dim light and he smirks.

'I just wanted to ask you about your brother.' He says swiftly.

Marcus' eyebrows knitt together in confusion and maybe even a little surprise, 'sure which one?' He says uneasily.

Kael's smirk widens, 'Jasper.'
