The Woods

Split - Fabian

"Where did Maddie go?"  Sam asked, pointing out she was gone. "Guys, we need to look for her." Sam assures the group.

"Well, we also have to look for Adam also." Delaney points out.

"Okay, half of the group looks for Adam, and half of the group look for Maddie." Alec told the group. Everyone agreed, and they split up.

Fabian, Alec, Nini, and Sydney went to look for Maddie while PJ, Destiny, Delaney, and Sam look for Adam.

"MADDIE!" Fabian, Alec, and Nini called out in the cold, dark woods. "Where could she have gone?" Nini asked. They walk within the woods, looking for shoe prints or calls from Maddie. They walk within the trees for 10 minutes, slowly losing hope of finding Maddie.

"Okay, how about this, maybe we will have a better chance of finding her if we split up." Fabian suggested. "What else are we going to do?"

"But that would make it easier for the person I saw to pick us off and kill us." Nini told Fabian.

"It's a faster way of looking for her though, and we will have a better chance of finding her if we do split up." Fabian argued. Nini and Alec both agreed and they decided to split up.

"MADDIE!" Fabian called out in the darkness of the woods. Where could she be? Fabian asked himself. He felt like he was just going farther and farther in the maze, and felt like he was making no progress. What if she is out of the woods already, and she is safe? And I'm here just looking for no reason? Fabian asked himself. He kept looking, losing hope of finding her.

"CKCKCKCKKKCCC" Fabian heard the loud cackles. Fabian started jogging away from the noise, but it kept getting louder, and louder, and louder. He heard the branches and leaves cracking as footsteps neared him. He looked back to see if it was one of his friends.

It wasn't.

Fabian screamed and ran from the masked killer. He swerved through the trees. Left, right, left, right. Fabian thought he got away, until it was too late. The killer grabbed by the neck, and stabbed him in the abdomen.
