"What happened!?!" Maddie exclaimed to Sam. Maddie pushed through Sam to get to the room first. Maddie saw Destiny in the corner of the room, cradling herself as if she had seen a ghost. The entire group ran up to Destiny with questions.
"He was taken by something!" Destiny exclaimed. She began to get up slowly. Fabian looked around the room, and saw the glass window shattered. Outside of the room was 40 feet of certain death. But Adam was nowhere to be found.
"Guys, Adam is not down there." Fabian points out. On the dirt lies a small trail leading into the woods
"I'll check outside by the trail!" PJ said as he ran out the room. The group of friends agreed with him, so they all ran with him out of the room. "Where do you think that thing could've taken him?" PJ asked the group. As they walked outside, the trail stopped in the middle of nowhere
"Let's check in the woods." Maddie said. "But we CANNOT split up, that would mean certain death." Maddie assured the group. They all ran into the road splitting the trees. "Let's go to the left side first." Maddie told the group. She heard a small cackle in the distance, followed by Adam's screaming. "ADAM!!" Maddie yelled.
She ran into the woods to the sound of Adam's calls. She looked behind her... nobody to be found. Maddie looked around, unable to see or find anyone. She proceeded to look for Adam in fright. She didn't know where she was, she was lost.
Maddie hit lefts and rights within the trees, but it was no use. She was lost. She heard the cackles get louder near her. She heard the leaves crunching on the floor as they crack and die. She ran away from the noise as fast as she could. She ran to the middle road splitting the trees, but she couldn't find her way. She used her phone flashlight for a light source. She walked for a bit when she felt like the thing was nowhere near her.
She kept walking to where she thought was the middle of the road, but she had no clue. The silence and the darkness left an eerie feeling, which sent chills down Maddie's spine. She walked up to a tree, which looked like Adam was standing there. She could see the bits of his brown hair sticking out from behind the tree, and his black and white checkered Vans from behind the tree as well. "Thank goodness Adam you're sa-" Maddie came to a halt when she realized Adam was... dead
