"I can't believe it," the moon charms don't fit together. They looked like they would fit, I was so sure they would fit.
"I'm sorry," he steps way a sad look in his eyes. I'm sad too. "I'm uh, Kyle. You can call me Ky though"
"I'm Taelynn. Call me Tae."
"I'll see you round I guess," he starts to walk away but I grab his arm, I still have some more questions. "What?" Ky asks bitterly. He seems impatient and a little more than embarrassed.
"You're not in my pack. Who's pack are you in?"
"None of your business," he starts to walk away but I won't let that happen. I need answers and I need them now. I grab onto his arm with both hands, do a 180, and slam him into the brick wall. It will sting for a little bit, maybe give him a couple bruises, and most importantly prove that he shouldn't screw with me. He looks dazed and surprised, good, I can be just as strong as any other werewolf. Even a male.
"How about you answer that question?" I smirk.
"Ugh," he's sooooo annoyed, it's basically radiating off of him in waves. "I'm in the Silver Stars pack okay?"
"Why are you here?" He only smiles.
"Your gonna have to beat me in a fight."
"Really now?" I ask placing my hands on my hips.
"Yeah, you win I answer truthfully to all of your questions," he challenges.
"You win I answer 10 of your questions truthfully. Unless they could negtively effect my pack. Of course."
"Smart cookie. Then I'll answer the same as you. Deal?"
"Deal."
He swings at me but I grab his wrist, his fist 2 inches from my face. I swing him by his armover my head so that he's laying face up on the ground. But before I can do anything else he's on his feet and I'm pinned to the wall by my shoulders. The look on his face tells me he's surprised by how good a fighter I am, "you owe me 10 answers," he grins.
No way, I'm not losing this fight. So I do the only thing I can think of at the time. I spit into his left eye. As he pays attention to his eye I push him away then knock him right out from under his feet. He's laying face up and I place my foot on his throat so he can't move. I wouldn't actually do anything to hurt him. In fact, the thought disgusted me. If anybody hurt him I knew I would have to go royally kick their ass. "10 answers please," I smile innocently.

"Question 1. Why are you in Full Moon Pack territory?"
"I want to join the pack," he answers.
"Question 2. Why do you want to join the Full Moon Pack?"
"They are they strongest pack in the world. Who wouldn't want to join them?" The question rhetorical.
"Question 3. What was wrong with your old pack?"
"They tried to murder me." A sudden surge of anger and protectiveness rushed through me. But why though? He isn't even my mate. I smiled sympathetically at him. He stares sadly at me as we sit in the warm, cozy alley, cross-legged, directly across from each other but not more than a foot apart.
"Why did they try to murder you?"
"I can honestly say I don't know. I forgot to ask, you know, while the Alpha's assassin tried to kill me. Luckily I was stronger." Before I even knew what I was doing I placed my hand over his. Warmth spread through me like wild fire and I quickly pulled my hand back.
"Sorry," I mumbled. But before Ky could say anything more I asked, "Question 5. What was your relationship with your Alpha?"
"My brother." Anger towards his Alpha bolted through me.
"Where can I find him?" I ask, hearing the hate in my own voice. Why do I even care?
"I can't tell you that."
"Okay, Question 7," I was more than a little annoyed by his answer but I kept my voice calm. "Do you know a guy with blonde hair, blue eyes, and round age 16? He was in the cafe."
"Yes."
"How do you know him?" I demand.
"He is my best friend. I've known him my own life, we were born the same day, he's 2 minutes older. Litterly."
"How did you find me?"
"This morning I smelled you. I thought you were my mate. Since it's the day of the full moon. My pack lives 3 hours away if you run in wolf form."
"Last question. How can I reach you? A phone number, e-mail, address. Anything!" I know I sound desperte but I can't stand the thought of him leaving. I don't know why, but I feel like I've known him forever. Omg. Am I in love with him? No, I can't be. I'm not his mate. People say you can sense your mate, the necklace is to just tell you for sure if they are your mate.
"Give me your phone." I hand him my IPhone 4S. "Here, I added my number. Once your call or text me I'll have yours." He gets to his feet and begins to walk away but before he can get 2 feet I throw my arms around him in a friendly hug.
"I'm sorry," I say, I mean it. I'm warm and comfortable while I hug him and it feels, right. I wish he was my mate.
"Well isn't this a surprise. You two mates after all?" I jumped back and saw the creepy werewolf come out of the cafe's back door. A smirk was plastered on his face.
"Actually no," I say matter-of-factly.
"What do you want Seth?" a hint of anger, annoyance, nd protectiveness creeping into his voice. It surprises me.
"I came to see if you two were mates. But since your not," he winked. Next thing I know Seth is standing directly on front of me, too close for my comfort. My moon necklace is in his hand as he tries to connect mine to his.
"Oh my god." The two moon charms fit together to make a perfect full moon.
