Rebecca: Exchange of souls was never my thing until I started to see it from another perspective- Rebecca was telling her psychologist about her last encounter with Alex.

Psychologist: Do you recall anything else about it? Tell me every detail so maybe we may find the real meaning of what you are saying.

Rebecca didn't remember much of that day but her conversation with Alex was stuck in her head.

Rebecca: Alex, I don't want you to see me as a sociopath, because you already know I am not. It is only that we, "the people" as you usually call us, do not share the same life's perspectives that you do

Alex: I am not telling you to change who you are or else but I really don't like your personality.

Rebecca: I know and I get that. That's why I have been thinking and I need to ask you for a favor. It might sound crazy but I need to ask.

Alex: The fact of me talking to you it's already crazy so just tell me but helping you doesn't make me your "bestie".

Rebecca: Can I borrow your soul for a couple days?

Alex: Wait, what? Yes, it is crazy. (looking astonished)

Rebecca: I just want to know how does it feel to have it all, to have friends, to be popular, to have both of your parents together, to be good looking. I just want to know what to say and when to say it, just like you do. Let me borrow your life, I want to be like you.

Alex: That's what you think of me? -Alex had a glance of sadness on his face- I'm ignoring here what you just asked and I encourage you not to believe in everything you see.

Later that day Alex hanged himself to death and left a note for Rebecca saying: "I am giving you my soul as you asked but you wouldn't survive if you had my life"
