After the girl spoke she sat down, without saying another word.
The sub pointed to the next person.
The short girl stood up facing towards the class ^ I can't do it! I can't do it!^. She opened her mouth to speak, but no words seem to be able to come out. ^ Lacy! WAKE UP!^. She began to shake. "I'm L-lacy," she stuttered out, then sat back down quickly.
Aww she's kinda cute! I would have helped her, but it was obliviously not an option.
The sub interrupted my thoughts with her nagging about how poor Lacy should have been louder, before she pointed to the next person.
___
As soon as she pointed to me, I stood introducing myself "Hello, I'm Jesse but I would like to be addressed as Jess please." I sat back down, hearing comments fly through my ears from the new students.
^Are those contacts?^, ^Her eyes are weird.^, ^Jess is still looking hot!^ Ew, okay now is when this so called power gets annoying.
I could feel my best friend shyly stand up and scoot closer to me, attempting to give herself the courage to introduce herself. She opened her mouth and just as the short, cute girl in the front of the class, no words came out.
"I-I'mmmm," she tried to speak.
I stood up, throwing one of my arms around her shoulder, "This is Jessica, but like me she also would rather be called Jess." I said, smiling to the rest of the class before sitting down.
The sub moved on, quickly although she gave us both a weird look, ^Homos.^
I was tempted to glare at her, but decided to keep quiet and move on.
___
Thankfully the bell rung, indicating that it was finally time for me to leave the dreadful class period.
I walked out of the room, following closely behind Jess as we walked to my locker first then her's.
"I don't like that sub," I mumbled angrily
She giggled a little, "I could tell."
"She just makes me angry. Not only did we not learn anything, but we spent the whole time introducing ourselves," I yelled.
"Calm down. She didn't even say anything to us, but I do feel bad for the little girl in the front. Umm... oh, Lacy," she said screaming the last part as she remembered the poor girl from earlier's name.
I giggled at her actions, she's cute. If only people didn't shame the homosexuals. God, I don't know what I am.
___
The bell rung once again making both of us groan out loud, as we walked down the hall to our next class which we luckily had together.
^I'm already tired and we're only one period in. Ugh.^
We walked through the open door, looking around the class room to see who was all there, before we both sat.
"WAKE UP DON'T BE LAZY, WELCOME TO MY CLASS," a voice boomed through the room. "Take a seat if you haven't yet. If you have any questions please ask now or after class, okay," she continued, but no one answered.
The class yet again slugged by, but we actually learned a little this time.
