I walked back to Phoebe's dorm around two in the morning. I walked in and she was fast asleep, still with her money. "I told her to spend it, not sleep with it." I mumble, looking around. I walk over to the couch and lay down, staring at the ceiling. "Why does this always happen when i'm assigned to kill someone." I say, closing my eyes and thinking. I ended up falling asleep thinking about my worthless expedition.
I wake up to someone talking about something looking cute. And then something about clothing. "Go the fuck away boss." I whined, looking up and opening my eyes, squinting in the bright light. "Oh i'm sorry, I didn't mean to wake you." a soft female voice said. "I sat up. And looked at the girl. She had short red hair, and green eyes. "It's fine, miss?" "Ava Mariana. And you're Cherry Mistwalker." I nodded, looking for Phoebe. "Cherry, you're up. And I see you've met my annoyance of a roommate." "HEY!" Phoebe giggled. "Joking Ava, joking." She glared. "I'm heading off to my classes, you have fun with Miss Mistwalker." Ava walked out. "What the hell?" I asked, looking at Phoebe. "That's Ava for you. Can't take a joke. Also, she's not mad you stole her clothing." I nodded, not really caring what the girl thought. "Do you know where I could find a murderer?" I asked, she looked at me. "The assassin is asking the college student were murderers are?" I nodded, forgetting this may not be common knowledge to her. "I dunno." I nodded. "Why do you look like you ran through the forest?" "Because I did." "Who are you looking for?" she asked, sitting next to me. I sighed. "A boy named Toby Rogers." She nodded, apparently she didn't hear the news. "So when are you gonna spend your money?" I ask and she flinches. "Today if you come with me." she said. I looked at her. "Sure, but may I ask why you want an assassin to keep watch on you?" "You're better protection than a normal person." I nodded. "Okay then let's go, if you're ready, that is."
