I sighed, walking around the town. I had gotten many looks of sympathy. And a few people offered me a place to stay. In my moping, I found i'd wandered onto Deer River College campus. "Fuck it, i'll use the damned door this time." I say, sneaking into the place. I find Phoebe's door, and knock. I waited in silence. After a while I knocked on the door again, a bit harder. I then hear some movements behind the door. A lock, and then it opened, to reveal a sleepy looking Phoebe. "Cherry, why the hell did you use the door?" "Because I thought I should after all i've done to you." She nodded. "You need a place to crash?" I nodded, not wanting to talk anymore than i'd have to. "What happened? I mean an hour ago I watched the report. But I know you were lying about a good chunk of that." I sighed, sitting on the couch. "Daren, he was pissed off at the fact that I hadn't killed you. And that I was pulling everyone else into the equation, he thought he'd give me a lesson, and kill the others." She nodded. "And why did he commit-" "He did not. After he attacked me. He was about to kill me. I was in fear for my life. I knew how the people i've killed felt. Then after a bit Toby had come in and killed him. Saving my life." She looked at me, shocked. "I don't know what to say. Cherry that's terrible." "Why do you care so much about me? I've killed a few people you knew and had great connections with. Hell, I almost killed you. And yet you care if i'm alive or dead." My question was met with silence. " It's cool, dude." I look up at her, shocked. "Good, cuz imma pass out on your couch." She giggled. "Sure, just don't kill me." I never answered her, as I soon passed out.
