Phoebe seemed extremely grateful for how much i've helped her. "Sooooo..." I drawled on, looking around. "Soooo what?" "Would you consider me to be a friend?" I asked, looking at the ceiling. She was quiet for a while. "I do. You're one of the kindest people i've ever met." I nodded. "I was planning on going on a scout around the area, to look for Toby. And if I feel like it, i'll look for your Jack." "Are you dating Toby?" I looked at her. "No." "Then why... oh I see." I nodded. "Well do you need me to be your personal guard again today or not?" I asked, getting my coat, and mask. "No, but i'll be lonely." "I can't take you with me, as imma get a job from my boss. And after words i'm going out to scout the woods." She nodded sadly and I jumped out of the window. "You can use the door you know." Phoebe yelled. "I know, I just choose not to." I yelled back, running off the campus.
I walked into the old abandoned warehouse that is the thieves base. "Yo, Cherry it's been a while." one of my fellow thieves said, walking next to me. "Hey Nickel, how's it going?" He gasped. "How'd you know it was me?" he asked. "Your mask and the way you talk is way to obvious, man." He pouted. "Cherry, sis, where have you been? Mason thought you died." my sister Emerald said, running up to me. "Cherry, it's been a while." I sighed as the guy under me in talent and income, walked up to me smirk on his face. "What do you want Daren?" I sigh. "Oh the boss just wants to talk to you. He said he had something important for you to do." I walked off to his office, and was greeted by his cheery demeanor. "Ah yess my favorite thief is back." I nodded. "What do you want. Mason?" I ask in a sassy tone. "Well you've been hanging around a college student lately, right?" I nodded. "Well we have a girl at that college who needs to be taken out." "Who, i'm not killing Phoebe." "Well look and see. No pressure, but if you don't take it Daren gets it." I groaned, and took the folder of information.
'Female, 19 year old, studying archaeological digger, long blonde hair, grey eyes. Name: Amelia Airheart. Goes to Deer River College. Task: Rob and kill. Reward: 3k.+ total cost of stolen items.' I hummed to myself. "Is it fine if I take it after I do something of my personal interest first?" "As long as it gets done." "Thanks boss." I say walking out, and going towards the woods, slipping on my mask and zipping my coat.
After an hour and a half of searching the woods, I gave up and decided to head to the campus to find the girl I needed to kill. As I was walking back, i could hear footsteps behind me. I dismissed it as an animal, and kept going. Then there was a weird crack behind me, and a quiet curse. "Who the hell are you?" I asked, turning around. I gasped along with the person behind me. "Cherry, is that you?" the person asked me, and by the voice I could tell it was male. "How do you know me. Mr?" I ask, reaching for my knife. He sighed. "You probably can't tell who I am with the goggles and mouthguard, can you?" He giggled sadly, which made me come to a realization. "Toby? What the hell are you doing out here?" "I was going to kill you. But i'll be taking my leave." He ran off, and was gone before i could even chase. "The hell." I mumbled quietly, walking out of the forest, onto the campus.
I snuck into the room of the girl, to find it empty minus of course her stuff. I rummaged around, found a purse with roughly a hundred in it. After a while I had found alone in cash about eight hundred. Plus about a thousand in valuable stuff. "Jesus Christmas she has a shit ton of-" "WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?" someone screamed, audibly dropping her stuff. "The death of you." I say, stabbing her in the throat, making her fall. I stabbed her a few more times to make sure she was dead. I grabbed a bag and finished looting her dorm. I found a picture, in a nice expensive frame. "Gotta be worth a hundred at least." I say, before realizing who was in the picture. "Oh shit." I cuss under my breath. It was Phoebe and the girl I just killed. "Oh well, I told her my occupation, she'll understand. I hope." After I filled the bag, I left by jumping out of the window, and running off.
