It's been roughly three days since I murdered that bitch and oh god, it's been all over the news. 'The number one suspect is Phoebe Adams, as she has found two out of the three bodies. She is in police custody.' I spit out my coffee. "Shit, she gonna hate me soooo much now." I say, cleaning up the little coffee puddle. "Cherry, don't you dare go after her." I sighed as my sister spoke. "Emie, i'm not planning on it, it's just I now have a killer after me." "Cherry, you've been down for a while. What's wrong?" Nickel asked me. "Everything's wrong." I sighed looked up. "She got her normal friend locked up." Emerald said for me. "And why does it affect you so much?" "I have a murderer after my ass now." I groaned, head in my hands. "Well you should have know this was gonna happen, Misty." I growled at the pet name Daren had given me. "Fuck off, Gunner." he giggled. "As you wish." I could hear him walk away. "I'm going out to scout." I got up and walked out, brooding.
I was walking around before I found a clearing. I sat on a stump and looked at the sky. "I hope you've said your goodbyes, Thief." a voice behind me said. "Go on, kill me, Jack." I heard a shocked gasp. "Did you come out here just to be killed?" I turned and nodded. "You don't have family that would miss you?" "No I only have my sister, and well, she'd be able to survive this well with the thieves practically raising her." He nodded. "Save Phoebe. That will be my last thing. I'll go to the station and tell them that i'm the Deer River College killer." He nodded. "As long as you don't hurt her, i'm fine with whatever the hell you do." I nodded and got up to go grab my mask and knife. "You should stay away from her as well. I heard from a little birdie that you almost killed her." He gasped. "Just go." he swatted his hand at me. I giggled and ran off.
I walked into HQ, no one showed up when I announced I had come back. "EMERALD, NICKEL, MASON?!" I yelled, hearing my voice echo through the abandoned place. I start to get worried. I sigh, not wanting to yelling his name "DAREN!" Footsteps. I felt better that someone was here, but wasn't as much as to who it was. "Cherry, upstairs in Mason's office, something happened. Everyone they're..." he trailed off, letting my heart drop. Fear encased my eyes, as I ran to the office. I stood in shock at the door. Emerald, was on the floor, blood soaking her dress and hair. Nickel's arm and leg were twisted in ways they shouldn't of been. And Mason was hanging from the ceiling. "Cherry, you know you should have killed her the first moment you got. But now you just helped kill all of the thieves of Deer River College." I gulped, turning around. Daren stood there, bloodied and holding his machete that was also covered in blood. "Daren, what did you do?" "I killed them. I ended their sad and sorrowful lives. And now i'll end yours." He rushed towards me, aiming to cut me. I dodged, but fell. "Stay, and i'll end this as quick as I can." "Never, you bastard." I said, backing up. I hit the wall. I sat there, staring at death. I gulped and closed my eyes, waiting to be hit. After a while of nothing I open my eyes to see Daren, his eyes wide, a hatchet in his abdomen, and blood dripping out of his mouth. A crack sounded thought the room, and the hatchet was withdrawn from his body. He fell with a soft thump. I stared at the man behind were Daren stood. He put his hand out to help me up. I couldn't make out any details as the room was dark. I grabbed his hand and pulled myself up. My eyes chose that time to adjust to the darkness. "Toby?" He nodded. I hugged him. "Thank you for saving my life." He nodded again, and walked off.
