I walk back from the woods and head to my dorm. I see a note on the counter but ignore it. I fall on my couch and turn the tv on. I put on kids cartoon and lay back closing my eyes. Why am I so tired lately? I hear a knock at my door. "No one's home." They knock again. "Ugh." I sigh, getting up. I open the door to see two of the police officers from before. "Um...hi." "We need to you come with us, Miss Adams." One of them grabs my arm and pulls me. I close the door, leaving the lights and tv on. They take me to the police station. I have to stay there for many hours, getting questioned and waiting. They finally let me leave when the sky gets dark. I walk home, kicking the ground. When I make it back home, I read the note on the counter. 'Went to a sick party. Won't be back until tomorrow morn, don't wait up.' I crumble it up and toss it in the garbage can.
When I sit back on the couch I realize that the tv and lights are off. I suddenly get scared and get up. I look around my dark apartment, picking up a lamp. I hear a crash in my room and slowly walk to the door. It's only cracked open. I try to look in but can't get a good view inside. I push it open another inch, silently. I can barely see into it now. I see a figure standing in front of my dresser, going through it. I push the door open more and it squeaks. "Shoot!" I whisper as the figure closes the drawer and runs to the window. I push open the door and enter the room. The window is still open but they're gone. I run to the window and see the figure, barely in seeing distance.
I walk over to my dresser. I start to open the top drawer but then I hear a scream. I quickly turn around and trip over myself. I get up and run to the hallway. I glance at all the doors, trying to figure out where it came from. Then I hear another scream. From the room right next to mine. I rush in. Standing there is Cherry, covered in blood, above Amelia's roommate, Nemesis. My eyes widen and I take a step back. I want to yell 'WHAT DID YOU DO?!' but can only mutter out a squeak. She stares at me, then takes a step forward.
