Revenge isn't always what it's chalked up to be. For some revenge is a life long mission and for others it is accomplished within a matter of hours. But when a person centers their life around revenge for a loved one, revenge becomes their life. When it's finally over and your life's mission is complete, there is no happiness or pride. There's emptiness. And you think to yourself; What am I going to do now?

Third Person POV
"Has anybody heard from Derek, or Haley" Stiles said opening the door of the loft like he owned it. Located in the loft was only Peter and Cora.
"No, they are both in hiding, there is no telling when they are going to come back" Cora said "We were taught when we were young that when we are threatened or injured, we run, hide and heal"
"Yeah well they've been hiding and healing for two days, that's long enough" Stiles said getting frustrated.
"Why do you care?" Cora asked.
"Well I don't now, there is an alpha pack out their terrorizing my friends, there has been a string of human sacrifices, there will be more sacrifices, Boyd is dead, Erica is dead, and the last time I saw Haley it looked like she was getting ready to die and then Derek just walked over to her, picked her up and walked out the door, shall I go on" Stiles said.
"You think Derek can do anything about that" Cora said.
"Well since it seems like he's the one everyone is after, it's more like he should do something" Stiles said
"I don't know, there's something different about him now, he wasn't like this when I knew him" Cora said.
"What was he like?" Stiles asked.
"A lot like Scott actually, a lot like most teenagers, unbearably romantic, profoundly narcissistic, tolerable really only to other teenagers" Peter said coming down the spiral staircase.
"So what happened, what changed him?" Stiles asked.
"There are plenty of factors that led to Derek being the way he is, but we need to start at the origin, more specifically what changed his eyes from yellow to blue." Peter said "Do you know why some wolves have blue eyes?"
"I just always thought it was, like, a genetic thing" Stiles said
"If you wanna know the origin of what changed Derek, you need to know what changed the color of his eyes" Peter said
"What's the origin" Stiles asked.
"Well the same thing that changes a lot of teenagers, a girl" Peter said.
"What like Haley?" Cora asked.
"No this happened before Derek met Haley, it all started with one girl, a girl named Paige" Peter then launched into the story on how Derek's first love turned tragic, changing young Derek forever.
Two days earlier (Haley's POV)
I've been in and out of sleep since Boyd's death. The last thing I really remember was passing out against Isaac's chest. Taking a look around I noticed that I was laying in a bed, in a very familiar place. My old apartment. I went to get up but I instantly regretted is as the pain from my abdomen shot all the way through my body.
"Ouch" I whispered. I looked to my left and noticed Derek in the rocking chair next to me looking down at me with worry in his eyes.
"How are you feeling?" He asked softly.
"Like I got my ass handed to me on a silver platter by an alpha with a foot fetish" I admitted. Derek chuckled softly. "I should have listened to you, I'm sorry"
