I immediately got out of my car and knelled down over the injured Derek. Not believing it was him I grabbed his face with my two hands and look him in the eyes. "Derek" I whispered. When I heard him groan It was like a shock to my system. I looked down to where I saw the most blood. on his stomach were three large gashes that probably should have healed by now. "Alright come on" I said getting him to a sitting position so that he could stand and get in the car. I took a millisecond to thank the Lord for my supernatural strength because Derek wasn't being much of a help right now, which is understandable.
I finally got him in the car and sped off in the direction of the loft. "Haley?" Derek whispered almost like he didn't know where I was.
"I'm here" I said driving fast but safe. I glanced over at Derek and saw him fighting sleep. "Ah! No stay awake Derek we are almost there" My voice seemed to keep him somewhat awake for the time being. Once I got to the loft I was once again grateful for my strength as I got him into the loft. Derek's deep breaths were heard...and felt against my neck as I hobbled him into the loft. The stairs were the hardest part of getting him in here.
"Come on Derek" I whispered finally approaching the bed. When I looked at Derek he was knocked out cold. For a second I worried that he wasn't breathing but when he inhaled I let out a breath of relief. "This is gonna be a long night" I said to myself.
I know the boys are on a cross country trip but you would think they would still know how to pick up a damn phone. When the message dinged to leave Stiles a message, I didn't hesitate to yell at him.
"Stiles Stilinski, what is the point of having a phone when you don't answer, Derek is alive, and he's really hurt, I have no freaking idea what to do and no body is answering their phone so if you could pitch one of your stupid ideas that sometimes works that would be great! Call me!" I said to my phone.
I looked back down at Derek. I've never seen him so hurt before or in so much pain. Even in his unconscious state his face didn't stop scrunching up in pain every so often. I knelled down by his bedside and took his hand in mine. I decided to try something I haven't tried yet in my time of being a werewolf. I tightly grabbed his hand and focused of taking his pain. Nothing happened at first but when I looked at my arm and noticed the black veins started to appear I knew I was doing something. After a couple seconds it was like his pain was transferred to me. My whole body started to burn and the pain was excruciating.
"Ah!" I said as I kept fighting through what felt like every cell of my body on fire.
"Stop" Derek said weakly and snatched his hand from mine. I let out a breath seeing him awake.
"Derek" I said
"How bad is it?" He asked. Choosing not to lie to him I told him the truth.
"Not good, Derek you aren't healing" I said worriedly.
"Just give it time" He said
"We might not have that Derek" I said. When I recieved no reply I noticed that he passed out again. Deaton. He will know what to do. I dialed in his phone number and waited for him to answer.
"Haley, I hope that whatever you are calling for is an emergency because I am quite busy at the moment" He said.
"It is! Derek is alive but he isn't healing like he should, do you want me to bring him to you, or maybe you could come here" I said all in one breath.
"I am afraid neither is an option right now" Deaton said.
"Why" I demanded
"Because I am taking care of somebody with the same injuries" Deaton said. I knew who he was talking about.
