Pipes. Six was starting to hate walking through pipes. Every where they looked there was always pipes. They were everywhere. They were like a need for this place to have. Well, other than it slightly rocking back and forth like it was floating on the ocean waves. So, Six was starting to hate these damn pipes. Or maybe it was now just pipes in general.
So far they had walked through, next to and over to many to count. Yet, they were still walking through one currently. Which was getting pretty annoying to Six. She didn't even know if she was going through one they had already been through or a new one. All she knew was that a young boy was holding her hand while she lit up the dark world around them with her lighter. She was pretty sure that eventually these pipes were going to make her go crazy.
As for Twelve, he was having fun. He thought of this as adventuring with his new friend. One where they walked past past nomes. One where they escaped pitch black slimy villains. Which was the most amount of fun that he had in a while. It was so much better than pulling pranks on the nomes or listening to Ten's stories or to Ten's wonderful voice singing him to bed or anything he had done before.
The two children eventually reached the end of the pipe. Ever so carefully Six climbed out of the pipe first. Then she picked Twelve up by his tiny, thin, twig like hips and pulled him out of the pipe. With the young child in her arms, Six looked around the area she was in.
It seemed to have a little bit of light in it. Just enough so they could see. The cold floor seemed to be made out of some sort of metal with a few screws that attached the floor to it's self. Then there was a large metal wall against the flooring up until a large metal railing took its place a few feet ahead. Then there was a much larger wall in front of them that seemed to be at the end of the railing. As for the wall it's self, it had a large window that was barred up like it belonged to a prison. That is except for the large rope ladder made out of bed sheets hanging out the window.
Six sighed as she walked forward on the freezing cold floor. It was a lot more colder than any other metal floor she had steeped on even though it was getting light from the outside shinning on it. There was no way she was letting her young companion steeping on it.
As she walked past the railing she heard a loud sound. It sounded as if some sort of sharp piece metal was being dragged over more metal. Twelve probably would have made that noise if he had metal toys to plate with or metal anything else. That annoying noise seemed to be coming from above them.
Six looked up. There was a many walk ways made out of metal above them. On one of the a large figure with long arms was dragging a cage behind it. The cage had looked like it had something in it. Something small. Something that resembled a unconscious child.
"Bad." Twelve mumbled as he tried to snuggled into Six's chest. As if he was trying to hid from something. His dark green eyes were quickly shut tightly as if he didn't wish to see it. Six looked at the young boy in her arms. He was now shaking in fear in her arms. She tried to look in his eyes. Which made Twelve open his eyes one more time. He pointed at the shadow figure that was disappearing behind something with the cage being dragged slowly behind him. He was still shaking.
"Bad." Twelve stated pointing at the figure as it disappeared. Six gulped as she tried to walk forward. Then she stopped as Twelve pulled at her hood. She stooped and looked at him again. His tiny little shaking hand as he pointed at the cage. He only said one thing and one thing only that made Six's blood run cold. The one thing that scared her beyond belief. The one thing that had just scared her for both of them. He pointed to the cage and has said,
"Food."
