Six walked very slowly through the pitch black room. Her tiny dirty, bare feet made no noise as she stepped on the wooden flooring. Well, she hoped it was wooden or else she was walking on something brown for the minute. Maybe it wasn't even brown. Her lighter didn't show her that much any more.
Every five seconds she made sure that Twelve was still holding her hand. She didn't want to lose her only companion. He was the only one of the two of them that could remember how to talk. Plus she found his presents to be a little amusing.
As they continue walking they pasted these strange looking items. Really stable looking items with a bit of metal at the end of it. It kinda looked like it was there for a decoration. Like the picture Six had found and put in her suit case. She had no idea what there were for or who they were of but, it made her home seem a little bit prettier.
Snores were heard from in these little metal things stuffed with large square piece of felt stuffed with something. Laying on top of all of these was children like them who were fast asleep.
By the looks of it 65% of them were having bad dreams. They were rolling around in their beds. Some were even sweating while making weird noises. The other 35% were laying there completely motionless. Six kinda wondered if Twelve laid there completely motionless while he was asleep or if he tossed, sweated and made weird noises in his sleep. Hopefully it was the more peaceful one.
Twelve's grip seemed to tighten as he heard a creak coming from ahead of them. Six quickly grabbed the boy and hid under one of these metal things. Her heart beat as quickly as possible. Why? She could se the outline of a door opening.
She turned her lighter off as two large feet entered the door way. Upon seeing this she made sure that Twelve was in her arms. That way if nothing could grab him. And if they did, she would put up a fight which would give him a chance it run.
Her grip got tighter as arms as long as the rope ladder entered the room behind the legs. It was obvious that this creature owned these arms. It was also obvious that it wasn't here to make friends.
He began to walked around them dragging it's long arms behind it. Every step he took made Six a little more uneasy. Which was probably why she pushed the young boy behind her so that her could run away.
Eventually she turned her lighter back on to get a better look at this creature. She stuck her head out from the item to see the creature. Her eyes filled with a look of fear.
A large creature with skin as white as snow was walking around. It's skin looked like it was pealing off from around himself. This thing was also wearing a light brown damages, faded fedora on his head. The hat was right above the dirt white bandage around his eyes.
Now the one things that made her the most uneasy was his arms. His arms were five feet behind him. They had one large bend in it that she assumed was it's elbows. As for his fingers, they were nothing but, pale long bones. They appeared to be covered by a long shirt sleeve covering that was grey and brown.
If tat wasn't enough, he began making a clicking noise with his tongue as he reached for the door. The door opening copied this creak sound. Then he turned his face causing Six to look at his pale melon shaped face. Even his messed up teeth which were in an horrid smile. A smile that seemed like she was shown before.
Ten as she saw the smile words began to play in her head. Words that were not hers. Words that definitely were not hers,
"Hey, calm down. Clam down. Six! Wake up! What ever you see, can't hurt you! He can't hurt you anymore! You're not there anymore! Six come on! Wake up!"
She grabbed Twelves hand and ran. She didn't know why. Who didn't know if this was a good idea. All she knew was that she had to. If not she knew something bad would happen. How? She wasn't sure. All she knew was that something told her something bad would happen.
Meanwhile Twelve was using his tiny legs as much as he could to catch up to Six. He glanced behind them to see a large set of boney pale fingers close the door.
The same fingers he saw when Ten took him away. When Ten left this place with him. The fingers of a killer. The fingers of the Janitor.
The fingers of the man who took his friends before they were never seen again.
