Six was on her knees in pain soon. The room fell silent as three sets of eyes landed on her. She felt Ten's sweet arms holding her up asking what was wrong just as her stomach could be heard. Runaway said something about going to find food before he and twelve left.
Or maybe they didn't. Six was in to much pain to focus. She was moaning crying a bit into her friend. Ten sighed rubbing circles into her back with a sad sigh.
"Shhhhhh...you're okay...they'll come back with a snack for you okay?" She told her. Six just groaned in pain gripping her friends sleeves instead. And that was how they stayed for a while, the pretty girl holding the other one up. They waited quietly for a while with Ten comforting her every few minutes.
Eventually as the minutes got longer and six got in more pain. Her friend gulped reaching under the hood and touching her face. Ten's eyes got large as ever.
"Oh god it's like your hunger is giving you a fever." Ten blurted out making six whine. They both made eye contact nervously before ten sighed.
"We need to go get food and find ..an you stand?" Ten asks softly looking at her friend nervously.
Six nodded trying to stand up. Her legs shook as her friend helped her stand. The two of them clung onto each other for a bit as six got her footing. As soon as she did they walked forward slowly. They walked as fast as they could, being slow as ever.
They walked for three minutes before six dropped to her knees. Ten panicked looking around the empty room only hearing gnomes running around. She looked around hoping to see their friends but, didn't see anyone. She gulped looking at her friend.
"Stay here....im gonna go find our friend and food." She blurted out taking her hood off and wrapping it around six for comfort. Six nodded before seeing her face. Oh god ten was much more pretty under the hood. Her hair had grown longer then the last time she saw it. Plus Ten also had bright green eyes that shined as they landed on her. Ten nodded before her perfect tan lips kissed her forehead.
Then she ran off to go find their friends as fast as she could. Thus leaving Six alone moaning in pain for a while. Or at least until a gnome walked over with a sausage. Six grabbed it and downed it without thinking much. The gnome stood to the side watching as she ate the food.
Once it was gone, her horror returned as another pain of starvation hit her. She groaned as she felt a sudden urge to bite the gnome. To down the gnome. To attack the gnome. To eat it's so good smelling flesh to avoid death. To avoid starvation, just wanting to eat the gnome.
She told the voice no but, before she knew it her jaw was snapped down on its neck. It let out a scream that reminded her of runaway. That made her stop for a moment as what she just did hit her. Then she had an out of body experience. It was like she was watching herself eat the gnome rather than doing it herself. She could hear herself start yelling to stop eating. She didn't know why but, she started saying it aloud as if she was trying to fight with herself. Trying her hardest when she felt a had on her back.
She spun around to be surrounded by darkness sing the masked women. The mouth part of her mask was missing showing part of her jaw was missing. The women grinned making her jaw pop as a bug dropped out of her mouth. As she did her voice could be heard.
"Six feast...feast like me...feast like you were bred to do....after all that's what your mother sent you here to do....she sent you so auntie could teach you our family's ways."
Six found herself screaming as her hand touched her shoulder. As the hand touched her she saw everything...everything. She saw her last and learned who she was..she saw what was taken from her.
Six had been a daughter of a geisha. The sixth child, the only one who survived birth. Her mother was a creature that looked humanoid that had hid in plain sight by wearing a white mask like her aunts did. Yet, unlike her sisters she married a human man..in fact one of the last human men who hadn't been corrupt by the magic that gave her mother her power.
Her mother's oldest sister owned a ship called the mAw. One she used to explore on every night with her cousins. She could remember giggling and playing with less human looking cousin who used to bring her dolls with her everywhere. She had been happy..
Then her father had found something in their basement one day. Ina a panic he packed his their bags and had everything ready to go. He had sworn six to secrecy not to tell her mother a word about this. Six had agreed. God knows why but, all she knew was her mom was starting to creep her out.
Her and her father had snuck up to a ship when her mother found them. Her father had pushed the ship out to water yelling at his daughter to row and loom down. She had done what he said as she heard her mother attack him. She then looked up to see her father's throat in her mother's mouth.
She remembers screaming and rowing faster.
She had gotten away and showed up at her cousins house. Her cousin hid her. She didn't know why but her cousin hid her pretending she was a doll and told her own mother she didn't know where six was. Six never found out why but, she knew it was why she could hear screams from the basement at night.
Eventually she saw more humans around her second aunts house. Yet, they were wrong. One was a but, with now eyes and limbs tied behind him. He would float which scored her. Another was an old man who had been tied down to a chair. Yet, six's cousin was soon becoming the worst monster of all. Her mother started taking her to a room when six was told to hide. She didn't know what happened...all she knew was the screaming. Her cousin would scream and come back more monster like.
She use to come back quickly but, soon she was locked in the room longer...that was when the hunger pains started. She had starved waiting for her cousin. Her cousin who slowly became more animalistic in nature but, still looked after her.
That's until the girl in the yellow rain coat showed up. Her second aunt had gone away but, she showed up. A human girl in a rain coat that broke into the mansion and talked to her. The girl who snuck her food. The one who made her feel human.
The one who fell down a cliff running away from her cousin, who had been crying jsut hours earlier to her about starving. The cousin who's mother didn't leave any food for them as if expecting this little girl to show up.
Six watched them fall before climbing down the cliff to see the sea. She couldn't find them in the water. Instead she found a raincoat. A yellow raincoat she wore with pride from that moment on..well that and what looked like a man in a mask taking two young girls away. Only the after life knew I'd they were alive.
From that point on she ran off trying to find safe places to stay over the net year..then she met her..she meet a young girl named Alisa and her brother Jack. Or should six say Ten and twelve...she had known them before. Ten and her used to cuddle in their sleep. They used to kiss in the rain before giggling together. They had looked to find what she was when...well the bag man found them.
Six had escaped his grip just as they arrived at the maw. She had run trying to find a way to help them as twelve and ten were taken down below. Once she ran, well she ran into her oldest aunt once again wearing her normal mask. Her aunt had looked at her smiling asking if she was ready to feast. Six didn't know what she meant until a young boy was brought before her. It was a young boy that he'd aunt told her to eat. Six yelled no fighting with everything she had to avoid eating him.
So her aunt ate him. His body laid their lifeless before shifting into a gnome's...the gnome she had just eaten. She started yelling at six about hwo she was supposed to eat. She was yelling about what they were when six fell over the balcony the masked women had watched her friends over.
Next thing she knew she had woken up in a suitcase millions of feet below. One that matched her father perfect.
And now that had that had pushed her to this fate was here again..reaching for her. Reaching out.
So she did the only thing she could think of. She bit it.
She opened her mouth and eyes just time to see she handy but the women...she had bit Ten. She had bit her friend's neck  and was now over her. Thank god she didn't rip anything out and just left fang marks. Yet, it was terrifying to her she almost did what her mother did.
"S-..six?" Ten asks wondering if her friends was back. Six looked up seeing Runaway holding twelve close and seeing the dead gnome meters away from them. She looked back down at ten as what she did sunk in. As soon as it did she did the first thing that came to her mind.
She ran away ditching her friends, unknowingly heading to her aunt's quarters once again like all those years before for another game of hide a seek. Yet, a game more deadly than before.
