Raquel’s Point of View

Ted called me this morning and asked me to fly over to where he was. I was excited when he told me this. I thought he wouldn’t forgive me after the Jack incident. It wasn’t until he called me a second time telling me that I was going to help him rescue a human girl named Nina that I got angry.

When he told me this I broke the first thing I could, which meant the glass cup I was holding was no longer one piece. I packed my bags throwing in clothes that left little to the imagination. I thought of this little mission as Ted just helping the stupid human race, after all, all they were good for was feeding.

I told my family good-bye and I got on a plane heading towards Georgia. In three hours I would be reunited with the man I loved most.

3 hours later

I got off the plane not being able to stand it any longer. I wasn’t scared of flying, it was the people. During the short time we were in the air there was one passenger who managed to throw up three times. One of those times in the seat right next to me. So to say I was not pleased was putting it lightly. Fortunately they moved my seat, yet they moved me from first class to business class. I’m glad to say I would be having a conversation with the manager of Delta Airlines and some people would be stripped of their positions.

In business class there was a horrible woman that I sat in front of. She seemed to have allergies because she would sneeze almost every five minutes. I could feel her spray her nasty germs on me. Although I wouldn’t get sick or affected by her disgusting spray it was gruesome nonetheless.

When I got off the plane I was almost one of the first ones off. It would be unbearable if I had to continue feeling wetness on the back of my neck from a disgusting human.

I swiftly walked towards the baggage claim area, eager to convince Ted to forget about this misfortune of events for the human girl. I spotted him waiting their as handsome as ever with my bags in his hands. Had it been anyone else, human to be exact, my two forty-pound suitcases would have been too much to handle.

As I got closer I could see his features clearer. He still had that beautiful black haired that needed just a trim and those blue eyes that could melt even the coldest of hearts.

I went up to him and was about to kiss him on the mouth but instead he turned away so I kissed his cheek. My teeth grinded together and my mouth was a firm line. Before I could say something I smelled a familiar scent and I felt Cece.

She jumped on to me exclaiming, “Raquel! Long time no see! I missed you. I’m so glad you could get here!” Cece was sometimes know of being annoying but she was family so I put up with it.

“I’m finally glad to be here too,” I replied.

“Hey,” Ted muttered. I was going to say hey back but he walked off in the direction of the car, trying to ignore me no doubt. Cece noticed so she talked twice as much as normal. I tried to pay attention but my thoughts kept on flicking over to Ted. When we got in his car, a new one that I didn’t recognize, I sat in the passenger seat and he still didn’t acknowledge me as he should.

When we pulled up to his new mansion he whispered something to Cece and she left. Then he told me to follow him. He led me to my room, that’s the guest room, and told me to dress up that we were going out to eat. The he left.

I went over to the shower and turned it on to a warm setting. When I got inside the water stung me. I tried to wipe away all my frustrations. I shampooed then conditioned my long beautiful blonde hair. After rinsing my body with soap I washed it off. I grabbed a towel and dried my body, leaving my hair for last. I wrapped my hair in my towel and made my way to my suitcases.
