Sweetest goodbye

Rose and I have been together for a year now. I'm happy. The boys and I have been working hard and we've debuted.

We have traveled around the world. I obviously brought Rose to some countries with me.

Today is my first anniversary with Rose. We are currently in Hawaii.

Rose was with Suga and Jin's girlfriends while the boys and I are preparing for my anniversary surprise. Rose and I do still visit Jennie when we're at home.

"Jimin, are these the flowers that you wanted?" Rap mon said.

"Yes yes. Leave it on that table next to the gift." I said while I fixed my tie.

Am I proposing? No no. Not yet.

"Jimin, 10 more minutes. She's getting ready already." V said. "Okay okay. I'm coming"

I ran down to the restaurant. We were in the hotel and to avoid her, I had to run down using the stairs. Fortunately, we were only on the 4th floor so it wasn't that tiring.

"3 more minutes Jimin!" Jungkook shouted.

I was standing in the middle of the restaurant that I booked. The lights were all off. It was dark. My hands were cold and sweaty.

"Are you sure we're suppose to be here?" I heard her voice with the sounds of her high heels clicking.

"Yes now stop asking question will you Rose?" Jisoo, Suga's girlfriend said.

I could hear the door opening.

"Wha-" She said. The lights turned on.

"Jimin? What are you doing there?" She went up to me.

I had the flowers and the gift in my hands. "Rose, we've been together for a year now. You made me realize that I am still needed in this world. We've been together for a year now and I'd like to say, thank you." I went down on my knees.

"Jimin are you?" She asked. "No I'm not proposing yet. It's too early I know. This is a promise ring. I hope it's not too late for me to give this promise ring" I said.

"No it's not too late. But what's our promise?" She said.

"Promise me that you'll stick by my side and I'll stick by yours. Promise me that even if you said goodbye, it'll be the sweetest thing. Promise me that we'll grow old together"

"That's a lot of promise but I'm willing to keep it. Park jimin, I love you" she said as she wrapped her arms around me and kissed my lips.

Rose and I decided to visit Jennie again. This time, we decided to tell Jennie about our trip in Hawaii.

As we reached her grave, I saw a letter on it.

"Whats that?" Rose asked. "Looks like a letter."

I picked it up.

"Dear Jimin and Rose,
If you read this then you've arrived at my grave.  I know that it's kinda creepy due to the fact that I'm writing this but I'd like to wish you both and the boys good luck for the future. Rose, please keep Jimin safe and be by his side all the time okay? I have to go now. It's been nice to hang around. Tell the boys I love them. Tell my family I said goodbye one last time. Also, the flowers laid on my grave, they're for all of you. My sweetest goodbyes ends here.

Tears started to stream down my face. Rose was crying too. She hugged me. "We love you Jennie." She whispered. I didn't hear Jennie again. She must've left then.

How can someone's goodbye be this sweet yet so painful?

I'll remember your words Jennie. I love you.
