Chapter 6 - Confrontation

I blinked a few times, wearing a confused expression.

What is he talking about? Coming to this school for me?

"So... you're here to reveal things about me? Is that what it is?" I said, narrowing my eyes.

He continued to stare at me with an unwavering gaze.

"Should I?" he dared, replying with an air of arrogance.

He spoke as if he were the one calling all the shots, as if he were simply joking around with something that is important to someone else.

My hands tightened into fists as a surge of trepidation rushed through. I wanted to do or say something right then and there but what could I do?

He is favored by everyone while I'm just a throwaway.

He is the kind of person everyone expected me to be like in the group.

He...possesses everything I don't.

If I do something out of line right now, the reputation that I worked so hard to build will be gone...That's not an option.

My hands loosened and laid flat against the wall as I turned my head away, disheartened.

"Do what you want...," I said quietly. After a moment, the sound of cloth rustling came from his direction as he got off the bed.

In a split second, he was in front of me, covering the light behind him and casting a shadow.

His hands wrapped around my shoulders and pulled me into a hug, my head nestling on his shoulder.

It hurt my pride a little that he was noticeably taller than me...

"Yah!" I warned, trying to back away but hitting the wall behind me.

He held on to me tighter.

"Jimin...you really haven't changed at all, have you?" Jungkook said, his voice a whisper to my ear.

It may have just been my imagination but the tone he said that in...it sounded sorrowful.

I pushed him an arms length away, my lips curving down into a thin line as I expressed my distaste.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?" I called out, crossing my arms.

He raised an eyebrow and even had the audacity to smirk as he took a step back.
