There was a certain awkwardness and silence around us.
At least, that's what I felt.
"Where did you get that video?" I asked, deciding to break the silence.
There was a pause before he answered.
"After what happened at the dorm, I didn't chase after you right away because I wanted you to have some space to yourself," he started, glancing at me. "But worry got the best of me and I went up to the rooftop to find you."
He looked for me and even ran down to get to where I was?
...Why?
"Why are you so concerned about me?" I asked, wanting to know.
Everyone treated me like trash. How was he different?
He smiled, bright and sweet.
"Why wouldn't I be concerned about someone that's important to me?"
Important...huh?
"Why bother though? You'll just make more enemies if you're with me," I mumbled vaguely.
Jungkook looked at me for a long time, his smile disappearing.
After a moment, his brightness returned.
"Let's go," he suddenly said, pulling me to a different building that wasn't in the direction of the dorm.
I furrowed my eyebrows but went along with him hesitantly.
"Where are we going?" I asked.
He didn't reply.
We got on an elevator and went down a floor before stepping out. It was a basement level with a bunch of cars.
We're in the parking lot?
Beep, beep.
I turned around to see Jungkook in front of a bright red car that flashed when he pushed a button on a key.
My mouth formed an "O".
"You know how to drive?" I asked, looking awestruck.
He simply smiled.
"Get in."
I put a hand on the door handle but stopped myself for a moment.
"What about class?" I suddenly realized.
Skipping class was almost taboo for me.
He held up a note with signatures.
"The teachers said I can ask someone to help me with my studies since I just transferred."
I looked closer, seeing my name on the bottom where there was a space for the tutor.
...He wanted me to tutor him?
"So we're going somewhere to study?" I questioned, getting into the car and closing the door.
He smirked.
No," he said, starting the car and looking me straight in the eye.
