Jungkook got up and reached a hand out to me, pulling me with him.

We stood in the hallway for a moment and I could hear voices near here murmuring and shouting.

I didn't know if I was ready or not but I had to be.

He wrapped his arm around my shoulder protectively and we slowly walked out into the open.

The sun stung in my eyes with small clouds and a blue sky when we got outside.

It was such a beautiful day today...Why must it go to ruin?

As we began walking across the grassy outdoor campus, people stared and pointed at me as if I were the center of a controversy.

But then again, I am.

Before long, there was a circular crowd around us and I could hear what they were saying.

"Jerk"

"Moron"

"You don't deserve to be here"

"You don't even deserve to live"

I looked down and shut my eyes closed, wanting to block out everything and run. Jungkook's hand tightened on my shoulder.

"Jungkook oppa, why are you hanging out with that idiot?" I heard someone say.

The crowd asked in unison, asking him why and whining.

His hand dropped from my shoulder and for a moment, I thought he would be on their side but he stayed put.

His expression was adamant.

"Unlike you guys," he said, cocking his head to the side. "I don't throw away people that are important to me."

The crowd gasped, eyes bugging at his "rude" remark that was probably more or less the truth.

"What?! Are you defending this jerk?"

"NO way"

Everyone began talking at once.

"Then he's just as bad as Park Jimin."

"The both of them are in on this."

My eyes immediately opened.

They were cursing at Jungkook now.

This was exactly what I wanted to avoid back then.
