Don't Die!

Chapter 2

He would have won the olympics for that mega long jump. Everyone were surprised. He then became famous among all the kids in the school.

So then everything became normal. School was over and we were heading home.

I walked with Ray and he was talking about himself "I live 3 roads next to your home. I live with my grandmother. My parents died in a plane crash." I felt quite sad about him. We then went to our homes.

I fled in "Mom! I'm home." My mom came running. She had dressed up neatly and had done a lot of makeup.

She said " I am going to a party. The neighbours have invited us. Take care of the home. I'd be coming home soon." and left the home.

My dad still didn't come back from work. So I thought to go for a walk with my dog, Marie. I know the name is weird, but I like calling people with weird names.

We were walking down to the next to next road of our home.

Marie obeys me. I can make her sit, stand, jump, run and take objects and roll.

That road was quiet. I could only hear sounds of crickets from the trees.

Then we came across a big bungalow. It was so big and covered with trees. It seemed empty. Marie started barking at that house. I told it to stop, but it didn't obey me. It continued barking.

I felt someone would yell  at the dog and took it back home. I hung it to the hook so that it won't run away.

I then walked up the cracking stairs in my home and went to my room. I then started playing video games. I actually had a nice collection of video games. I was playing for hours.

It was 7:00 pm and mom still didn't come. I then heard a knock and I went running to open the door.

It was my dad. He said " I'm home. Where's mom, Daniel?"

I replied " She went for a party. The neighbours had called. I have no idea why they are throwing the party."

Dad said, " I think I am gonna join them. I will come back in a hour or two. Take care of the home, son."

"Sure thing, dad."

My parents then showed up 10 in the night. Then we had our dinner. I told my parents how Marie acted so weird today when he saw the bungalow. My parents said he will be alright. But he growled so hard. I also told them about Ray and how he had jumped in the long jump. They were also amazed.

So then I went back to sleep. I remembered something when I got to bed.
