Don't Die!

Chapter 4

For those who don't know, 666 is a SATANIC number. Ray's number was 666 written thrice.

I was so scared. I then went, picked up my phone and called the number. It was ringing for a long time and no one picked up.

I actually felt a little better after calling. No one picked up. Suddenly, there was a call.

I saw the phone with one eye open and it was 666 666 666. I was scared to pick up the call but I had to.

"Hello?" I said. There was no reply for 20 seconds.
And then there was a reply-
"Hey! I am coming for you. I will kill you." There was a yell from the phone and then the person hung up. I got so scared.

I felt that my heart was beating several times faster than usual. I got so scared. I also understood that my phone's speaker was gone. My phone is muted forever only because of that one deadly call.

Next day morning, I went to school.

I walked into the class and straightaway walked to Ray and asked him, "Are you kidding me? You gave me some evil number when I asked for your number. Who are you? A ghost or something?

Ray replied, "What? I don't understand. Show me the number that I had given you."

I opened my bag and showed him the book.

He said, " Oh no! I gave you a wrong number by mistake. My number is 666 966 756. I am extremely sorry."

I calmed down, "Oh God! I dialled the number you had previously told and now my speaker in phone is spoilt."

Ray whined, "Oh! I am very sorry, Daniel. That was a mistake. I was distracted by some other thing, that is why I had given you a wrong number. Please forgive me."

I said, It's fine. I will replace it. Just forget about it."

Mr.Harrison didn't arrive today too. I think he must be sick.

A few minutes later, the principal entered our class and told, " My children. Please bear this pain. Your class and maths teacher, Mr.Harrison, passed away yesterday. He was murdered in a very rash way. It seemed that something bit him and sucked his blood. His body has been given to the forensic lab for the reason to his death."

I felt so sad. How did this happen? Unfortunate things are happening from the past two days. I can't believe it. One thing which is quite clear is that all these things have something to do with Ray. From when he entered our class, these weird and unfortunate things happened.

I cannot accuse him straightaway but still I have a feeling it has something to do with him.
