Don't Die!

Chapter 12

Now, I literally thought I could just jump out of the window. I could feel my heartbeat. My heartbeat rate could be like a 1000 per minute.

I didn't know what to do now. I also didn't want to look at Ray or James. I just was looking at the brown door and rusted locks.

Well, the room door was still locked. And then, the locks of the door just fell of.
I went two steps back. I seriously am gonna faint.

The door was slowly opening with a cracking sound. But it opened slowly. Very slowly. Now, I went two more steps back.

I also realised that I was sweating a lot. I could feel the heat of the body and chill down the spine both at the same time. I didn't know how to react.

I just bent down and stared at the slowly opening door. As it opened fully, I could see a boy almost reaching my height. I couldn't see his face as it was dark.

He started walking into the room. Now, I almost saw him when the bulb went off. And then flashed lightning and I could clearly see his face. It was Ray.

My heartbeat became normal for one second and again, it went up to thousand per minute. There are two reasons for the increase of heartbeat.

Firstly, Ray was standing behind me and was inside the room, then how could he possibly come in from the room door. Secondly, it's not the Ray we know now.

He has the same long hair and untidy clothes he had when we first saw him. How could he grow his hair and change his clothes so soon?

I panicked. I couldn't move. I was mentally not ready to move. I just turned back to see the Ray who was with us. There was literally no one behind me.

I then turned front and this other Ray was in front of me. He stood in front of me. He was like 5 centimetres away from me.

He said, " How are you, my good old friend?"

I said, " Run!" And it turned right to see James. He was down fainted. Or was he dead? I didn't have time to lift him up or something like that.

I also couldn't run out of the room door. So, I just turned back and started running the other way and just jumped out of the open window. I laid on the grass.

I had a few cuts on my knees but it was okay. I then realised I was so hurt I couldn't even get up. I tried and I tried. But I couldn't get up.

Then there goes another lightning and I could see the three graveyards I saw before. It was in one of these graveyards that my dog lay dead. And there goes another lightning.

Now, I panicked. What I saw was the name on the third graveyard. It said Ray Jefferson. Below that, it said 1965 - 1978.

It couldn't have been Ray's Dad or grand Dad or something. It had to be this Ray. I could say that because the age Ray Jefferson lived was just 13 years.

And my so called friend, Ray was also 13 years old. Now, all I could say was that Ray is dead and the Ray who came to our school must be a spirit.
