We reached wherever Steve was taking me and he helped me off the motorcycle. We walked into the place together and I smiled at him. The restaurant was almost full. I guessed that Steve had reservations. Steve spoke to the hostess then the hostess led us to a table. Steve helped me into my seat then sat across from me.

"How are you?" He asked.

"I'm actually great," I answered with a smile. "How are you?"

"I'm great," he smiled.

Our waiter asked us what we would like to drink then walked away once we answered. I looked at the menu and tried to decide what I wanted. I could tell Steve was debating, too, by the look on his face. I giggled and chose something.

"Are you having troubles?" I asked. He looked up and smiled at me a little.

"Just a little," he answered with a chuckle.

"I'm just going to get pasta," I told him. He nodded and continued to look puzzled. "What are you trying to choose?"

"I have no idea," he admitted.

"How about we share pasta then? It'll be cheaper, and if one of us doesn't like it, the other can take it home," I said.

"That's a good idea," Steve smiled.

"Thank you."

The waiter came back with our drinks and we ordered our pasta. Steve asked me questions about myself and eventually it lead to my ex boyfriend. I told him all about what happened with him and how we broke up. Steve apologized for his stupidity and his lose. I turned the conversation back to him. He said he hadn't had really any girlfriends. I nodded and let him speak about other things.

The waiter set our bowl in the middle of the table and refilled our drinks. We shared the bowl and spoke more about things we had in common. He made jokes and I laughed in a ridiculous manor. I mentally slapped myself every time I laughed. He smiled when I laughed and it made me smile. We both finished the pasta together and left without dessert. Steve drove to another area that I still didn't know. We walked inside and people were dancing. I looked at Steve.

"Steve, I don't know how to dance," I whispered.

"I can teach you," he replied. He stood in front of me, held his hand out, and smiled at me. "Adriella, may I dance with you?"

"If I can keep up with you, Steve," I laughed. Steve took my hand and we moved to the dance floor.

"Follow my lead," Steve whispered.

And I did so.

Steve and I swayed to the music. He held me close and spun me around. I laughed a little and held onto his hand. He then dipped me down and I stared up at him with a goofy grin on my face. I was pulled back up and the music sped up.

We danced to a few more songs then left. I told Steve to stop at an ice cream shop. Steve parked in front of the placed and we walked in. I got birthday cake ice cream and Steve got just plain vanilla. We sat outside and ate the ice cream.

"How is your plain vanilla ice cream?" I asked.

"It's amazing, want some?" Steve asked.

"No thanks," I laughed.

"Have some," he said, pushing his spoonful towards me. I laughed and leaned back.

Steve pulled me close by my waist and held the spoon up. I opened my mouth and ate the spoonful. I tried not to spit it out because of me laughing, then swallowed it. I held up a spoonful for Steve and he took it.

"I like that," he said.

"You should have gotten it then," I said. I turned and continued to eat my ice cream.

"Adriella?" Someone asked. I looked up in the direct of where I heard the voice and saw my ex, Tyler. "Hey!" He said, trying to hug me. I didn't wrap my arms around him or anything.

"Hi, Tyler," I said with the pleasantest voice I could use in this moment. Steve wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me close, noticing how uncomfortable I was feeling. "This is Steve, Steve Rogers." Steve held out his hand and Tyler shook it.

"You look familiar," Tyler said.

"I get that a lot," Steve said.

"No, you're Captain America," Tyler said, pointing at Steve.

"Hey, darling," some woman said, holding Tyler's arm once she appeared. "Who's this?"

"This is Adriella, my ex girlfriend, and Steve Rogers," Tyler said.

"We better get going. Right, Adriella?" Steve asked. I nodded and we headed towards his motorcycle. Tyler called after us. "Tyler, we're leaving now. It was nice meeting you. Goodbye."

Steve drove away before Tyler could say anything else. I held onto Steve and leaned my head on his back to cover my face from the wind. Steve stopped at a park close to the hotel and got off before I did. Steve helped me off and noticed I was starting shiver. He pulled off his jacket and handed it over to me. I wrapped it around me and half smiled at Steve.

"Are you okay?" Steve asked. I nodded.

"Steve, I had a great time tonight. I could never repay you for the amazing night," I whispered.

"You don't need to repay me," he murmured.

"But I feel like I need to because you've just made this all so amazing and-"

"You've already repaid me," Steve said. I nodded and sighed. He leaned in and softly kissed me. I wrapped my arms around his neck and tried not to smile against his lips so I didn't seem like an idiot.

We pulled away and walked to the hotel. Before I walked in, Steve pecked my cheek and I thanked him again. I asked him if he wanted his jacket back, but he told me to keep it till next time. I went up the elevator alone. I knocked on the door and Nycole answered in her blue sweatpants, white Meow shirt, and black and white cardigan. She welcomed me in and handed me a cup of ice cream.

I changed into my shirt that said NORMAL IS BORING, grey sweatpants, and grey cardigan. I put on slippers then sat on my bed with Nycole. Nycole turned on a movie and we started eating the ice cream. I put my hair up in a bun and smiled, replaying the night all over in my head.

"How was tonight?" Nycole asked.

"Perfect," I answered in a sighed. Then I remembered the one detail that wasn't perfect. "We saw Tyler, though."

"How was that?" She asked.

"Steve took me away from him," I said.

"Steve's a lifesaver," Nycole teased.

"Stop," I laughed, hitting her with a pillow. She laughed and shoved a spoonful of ice cream in her mouth.

"You like him, though?" Nycole asked.

"It was just a date," I replied.

"But there's something between you two," she whispered. "I can see it." I took a bite of my ice cream and smiled. We stayed silent to watch the movie a bit. "Did I tell you about the time I flirted with a god?" Nycole blurted out. I stared at her and laughed a little. "It happened! It wasn't Thor because he was already taken. It was his brother."

"Nycole!" I laughed. She shrugged.

"I wouldn't ever see him again, so I said why not? He was locked up and I spoke to him and he spoke back. It wasn't anything, but it was cute," Nycole explained. I laughed a little more and looked back at her. I sighed and realized that she was telling the truth and maybe she did like him.

"Maybe you'll see him one day," I said. "Have hope, Nycole." She nodded and stood from the bed.

"I'll put our ice cream back," she said, taking the ice cream cups.

She didn't come back to my bed. She went to her own and stayed there with the door shut.
