Few weeks later.

Steve tossed me a letter that had my name on it. I examined the envelope before opening it. I didn't get letter from the military anymore, so it was weird. I read the letter, then immediately dropped it, covering my mouth and starting to cry. Steve rushed to me and asked what was wrong. I pointed to the letter and he picked it up.

"I didn't know," I whispered as I shook my head. Steve smiled and kissed my cheek. I wiped my eyes and looked at the letter. "I thought all my family was gone. No one told me I had another brother," I said.

"Well, we better get ready to go get him," Steve said. I smiled and rushed into my room.

I changed into a nude maxi skirt and black and white stripped t-shirt that I tucked it. I put my hair in a neat bun and did my makeup. Steve walked into the bathroom as I finished my makeup wearing jeans, a grey t-shirt, a black hoodie, and a ball cap. I smiled at him and asked for my black heels. He went into the closet and brought them out to me. I thanked him and put the heels on.

Steve helped me to the car and drove to the airport. I bought flowers and Steve wrote on a paper with my brother's name on it. I felt nervous as we waited and I saw it was time for my brother's flight to walk out. Steve and I stood as we saw people started to walk out. I held the flowers and Steve held up the sign. I saw my brother and the memories came back to me. When he saw me, he dropped his bag and opened his arms for me to hug him. I ran towards him and hugged him tightly.

"I missed you, Todd," I whispered. He squeezed me then pulled away.

"You're so grown up, Audrey," he said with a smile. Audrey was my nickname only known to my family. I smiled and handed him the flowers. We walked back to Steve and they shook hands.

"This is Steve," I told my brother.

"Rogers?" Todd asked. I nodded. He smiled. "Nice to know my baby sister is in good hands."

"Nice to know Adriella still has family," Steve replied.

"Nice to know you two get along," I laughed. "Now let's go."

After getting Todd's bags, we went to dinner. We caught up on everything and Steve and Todd got along better than I thought. I excused myself to the restroom and checked myself in the mirror. I walked back to the table and realized that Todd and Steve were going to be great friends. I sat down and started eating again, listening to their conversation. Steve placed his hand on my knee, making me smile.

"So, have you two spoken about the future?" Todd asked. I looked at Steve with a smile then shook my head, no.

"I guess we've been too caught up to try to speak about it," I laughed.

"So no talk about marriage or a child?" He asked. Steve and I shook our head again.

"We're just dating right now," Steve said. Todd nodded.

We left the restaurant and headed back to our apartment. I helped Todd get comfy in the extra room. My phone started to ring, so I excused myself and went into the kitchen to answer the call. Nycole said hello.

"What do you need?" I asked with a smile.

"How about tomorrow we hang out? I'll bring a movie over," Nycole said.

"Yeah, I'd like that. Steve is leaving with Tony for some mission. I'll be alone while my brother looks for a place," I replied.

"Your brother?" Nycole asked.

"I just found out today. I'll tell you tomorrow," I said. "I've got to go help Todd. See you tomorrow."

"Bye."

I headed towards Todd's room and saw him asleep. I smiled and looked for Steve. He wasn't in our room or our bathroom. I checked the workout room and found him sitting on the bench. I sat beside him and started taking my hair out of its bun.

"Let's go out to eat after my mission tomorrow. Just us," Steve said.

"Why?" I laughed.

"I just want to take my girl out," Steve smiled. He took my hand in his and kissed my cheek. I smiled and squeezed his hand.

"Maybe we should talk about the future," I said.

"What about it?" He asked. I shrugged. Steve laughed.

"Have you thought about our future?" I asked, leaning my head against his shoulder and rubbing my thumb over his hand.

"A little," Steve replied.

"I don't think we really need to. We're great right now, right?" I looked up at Steve for an answer. He nodded and smiled. "Let's go watch a movie," I said, standing from the bench and taking the things I took out of my hair.

Steve turned on a movie in the living room while I changed into comfy clothes. I jumped next to him on the couch and payed attention to the movie. Steve placed a blanket around us and I cuddled close to him. I guessed that he chose a movie from my collection because I was more interested in it than he was. We were watching Wall-E.

Todd walked out and sat beside me towards the middle of the movie. Once the movie ended, I headed to the bedroom. Steve told me to go ahead and get it ready, he would be there in a minute. I crawled into bed like I always did and turned the tv on. I grabbed my tablet and watched the two men talk.

It was like they had been friends forever.

I couldn't hear exactly what they were saying, but it was about me, I could tell. Steve showed Todd something that I couldn't see and it bugged me. I put the tablet away and started to watch the tv. A few minutes later, Steve walked in. I jumped up and followed him to the bathroom. We brushed our teeth together then I removed my makeup and Steve changed. We finished at the same time and crawled into bed together. Steve turned off the light, but not the tv. I poked his side and he squirmed. I laughed and kept doing it.

"Audrey, stop," Steve laughed. I pulled back from him and stared for a moment. Steve sat up and realized why I was so taken back. "Adriella, I'm so sorry," he whispered. I put my hand up and looked down.

"It's fine, Steve," I breathed. Steve tilted my head up to face him and smiled.

"Adriella, I'm sorry," Steve whispered. "Todd started saying it around me so I thought I would be okay."

"You are okay." I cupped his face in my hands. "It sounds great when you say it. I just haven't heard someone say that in a long time." I kissed him then crawled back into bed. Steve did the same and pulled me into him. He started to tickle me and I laughed and kicked him away. He stopped after awhile.

"Okay, now it's time to sleep," Steve said. He rolled away from me and pulled the blanket over him.

"I'm not tired," I stated, crossing my arms. Steve faced me and chuckled. I yawned, then covered my mouth quickly.

"Your body says otherwise," Steve got out.

He took me in his arms tightly and slowly drew small circles on my arm. It was so soothing. I closed my eyes and just listened to Steve breathing and the feeling of his soft fingertips gliding across my exposed skin.
