Few Months Later.

Michelle sat silently as her mom curled her hair. I made sure everyone's spring color dresses were on and fit perfectly and that their hair was in perfect condition. I was probably more stressed than Michelle. Natasha handed me a water bottle and told me to relax.

"Adriella, how about you check outside?" Nycole said. I nodded and headed to where the ceremony was being held. Clint was making sure everything was okay for me.

"Is there anything out of line?" I asked. He turned and smiled.

"Everything is fine. You can relax. We have just a half an hour. Everything will be okay," Clint said. I nodded and took a deep breath. "Are you okay?"

"Not talking to him for four or five months and now having to walk down the aisle with him is scary," I said.

"He's scared, too," he replied. "You should see him up there! He's going crazy!" I laughed a little then pushed my hair out of my face.

"I need to head back inside," I told him.

I headed into the room that all the bridesmaids were and sat down by the window. I stared outside and watched people fill up the seats. I sighed and tried to focus on the wedding for my friend, but I couldn't stop thinking about Steve.

The first time I saw him in months was yesterday at the rehearsal dinner. I was uneasy about walking down the aisle with him, but I had to do it for Michelle. He only said hello to me, and it hurt me. I stayed silent, though, and pushed through. He stared at my the whole night.

Someone threw flowers on my lap to get my attention. I looked up and watched Natasha sit beside me. I smiled and grabbed my flowers. Natasha smiled back and lifted her flowers up.

"Are you ready?" She asked.

"As ready as I can be," I said.

"It's going to be okay," she told me, placing a hand on my shoulder. I laughed.

"You should be saying that to Michelle," I replied. She laughed and we both stood up.

Michelle walked out of her changing room and smiled at everyone. Her dress was short and lace in the back. She wore a flower crown full is spring colored flowers to match the month, April. I covered my mouth and started to cry. I could tell she was close to crying, too, but I stopped her.

"Please don't cry," I whispered.

"Then you don't cry," she laughed. I wiped her eyes and put my hands together.

"I think it's time," I said. I walked down the stairs and met Steve at the door where the aisle began. I moved my loose strands of hair out of my face with my free hand and smiled.

"You look great," Steve whispered. I looked at him, and he smiled.

"You do, too," I replied in a quiet voice.

We walked down the aisle first, Nycole and Bruce behind us, Natasha and Clint behind them, then Jane and Thor, and lastly, Pepper and Tony. Once we all were at the end of the aisle with Bucky, Michelle walked down the aisle with her father. I looked at Bucky and saw the tears in his eyes. I knew it was okay to cry now, so I let my tears go. Nycole grabbed my hand and squeezed, trying to make me feel better. I didn't feel better, but the thought counts.

The ceremony finished and we all followed Bucky and Michelle to the reception. I sat down next to Michelle and Steve sat beside me. He seemed to be a little worried, but I didn't want to be a bother. We all were handed a drink and I was the first to take a sip. Steve leaned over to me.

"Would you like me to get you some food?" Steve asked.

"We can go together," I said. "I can get my own food, Steve." He nodded and helped me to the catering table.

"How have you been?" Steve hesitated to ask.

"Busy," I quickly replied with a small laugh. "Busy working on all of this."

"Well, it all looks great," he said, smiling. I tried to grab some food, but couldn't reach. "Here, let me help you," Steve said as he grabbed the food for me.

"Thank you," I whispered.

We walked back to our seats just in time to watch Bucky and Michelle have their first dance. I smiled and took a bite of my food. Steve grabbed my hand, and I didn't pull away like I thought I would.

Once people started moving towards the dance floor, Steve took me there as well. I protested, but let him take me. I wrapped my arms around his neck and he placed his hands around my waist.

"I missed you," Steve whispered as he nuzzled up against my neck. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes. "I'm sorry I haven't been there for you, Audrey. I should have helped you, but I didn't know."

"What are you talking about?" I asked, pulling away from Steve. He looked at me confused.

"Bucky said that you were..." he didn't go on, then I realized that he was talking about my pregnancy scare. I leaned my head against his shoulder and sighed.

"I'm not," I said. "I thought I was, but once I took the test, I wasn't. I honestly didn't think you would care."

"I never stopped caring about you, Audrey," he said. He pulled away and caressed my cheek with one hand. "I love you." I bit my lip a little and smiled. "I would have been there for you from day one to month 9." He smiled and pulled me closer. "And I'm with you till the end of the line." I laughed and Steve kissed me. I pulled away and smiled widely.

"I'm stuck with you, aren't I?" I asked. Steve laughed and nodded. "You're lucky I love you, too."

We got pulled away by Nycole for pictures. The pictures took until it got dark. After pictures, Bucky and Michelle cut the cake. Steve and I shared a piece as everyone danced. We spoke about things and laughed almost louder than the music.

Michelle announced that she was going to throw her bouquet everyone rushed over. Nycole and Natasha dragged me over and we stood in front with our arms up. Michelle counted back from three and threw it. I caught it then rushed back to my seat. Steve laughed and kissed my cheek.

"How do you feel about marriage?" Steve asked.

"I hate it," I joked. Steve laughed. "I'm really kidding. I want to get married."

"I do, too," Steve said.

"It'll happen when it happens, Steve," I said. He nodded. Steve led me to dance again and I laughed at his terrible dance moves.

"Am I embarrassing you?" He asked. I shook my head, no.

"But please stop!" I yelled. Steve took my hands and pulled me closer to him. He leaned his forehead against mine and smiled.

The music slowed down and everyone started to leave and put things away. Steve and I stayed where we were and swayed back and forth. Michelle and Bucky pulled us away so we could help clean up. Michelle and I packed up the makeup and spoke softly.

"Are you two together?" Michelle asked. I nodded and placed the boxes of makeup in a bag then helped Michelle up. "Good."

Steve and I went back to my apartment together. Inside, we both changed into different clothes and hung up what we were wearing before. I wiped off my makeup while Steve went into the kitchen. I put my hair in a ponytail and walked out of the bathroom. Steve was looking at where the pictures used to hang in the hall. I stood beside him and sighed.

"Once you left that night, I lost control. I screamed and cried, and if Nycole didn't get here in time, I may have hurt myself," I explained.

"It was a hard time," Steve replied. He wrapped his arm around me and kissed my forehead.

"It's easier now that you're here," I said.
