I hung up the phone and set it down. Michelle was getting her party ready with Nycole's help. Nycole came home only two days before and refused to let me cool for her after seeing my condition. I'm fine now, but she just didn't want to deal with seeing my arm like that. I picked up my curler and started to curl the strands of my hair. Steve and Bucky were talking with Tony and would be back any minute. I didn't mind it, though. I had conversations with Jarvis while they were gone. I know Jarvis isn't real, but I'd rather talk to him than myself.

"Be careful," Jarvis said. I looked at where my hand was and realized I was about to place it on top of my curler.

"Thanks," I said. I went back to curling my hair. "Is my arm okay to unwrap for tonight, Jarvis?" I asked.

"I think it'd be fine," Jarvis answered.

"Alright," I whispered. I turned off my curler and looked at my hair, making sure it looked great. "Time to change," I whispered to myself. I walked out of the bathroom and looked for my navy dress. "Jarvis, did I wash my dress?" I asked.

"No, it's right here," Jarvis said, showing a spotlight on the dress hanging up behind the bathroom door.

"Thank you," I smiled.

I removed my robe and slid on the dress. The slit hit my mid thigh. I leaned down to my heels then slid them on my feet. I examined myself in the mirror and smiled. I asked Jarvis for the time and told me I had a half an hour till the party. He told me Bucky and Steve were coming up to the door. I walked out of my room as the front door opened. Steve was laughing about something with Bucky while I walked into the kitchen and grabbed a water. I heard their footsteps stop. I turned from the fridge and smiled.

"Hurry up and change, boys," I said. I took the bottle back to my room and checked my phone.

The guys called my name a few minutes later and we all got into the car. I drove to the ballroom that Michelle rented for her party. I parked and as I started to get out, Steve stopped me. I watched him walk to the my side of the car and open my door. He held out his hand and I willingly took it, stepping out of the car. I linked arms with Steve and Bucky and walked up to the place. Steve leaned over to whisper in my ear that I looked beautiful, which made me blush. I saw Michelle and Nycole and rushed over to them. I hugged them tightly.

"Did he come?" I asked Nycole. She nodded.

"He's going to come with Thor and Jane," she said.

"I invited Pepper," Michelle said.

"You know she'll bring Tony and he'll bring people," I said.

"I warned her but she didn't get it," Nycole groaned. I nodded and felt myself being pulled away by Steve.

I turned my attention to him and smiled. He led me to where the drinks were and made me a drink. I leaned against the bar and took a drink, not taking my eyes off Steve who was doing the same. I looked around for Bucky and saw him across the room. I motioned him to come over before all the people flooded in.

About an hour later, Tony Stark walked in with a bunch of people following. I lost Bucky and Steve in the crowd and stood at my spot at the bar. Nycole waved me over to where she was. I walked over there and sat beside her on the couch.

"Adriella, this is my friend, Loki," Nycole announced, pointing to the man beside her. I smiled at him and held my hand out.

"Nice to meet you," I said.

"It's a pleasure," Loki replied. "I've heard many splendid things about you." I smiled and pulled my hand away.

"You're related to Thor?" I asked. Loki rolled his eyes and Nycole told me it was a sensitive subject. I nodded. "Well, this may be a more appropriate question. Where did you get those clothes?" I asked. He was wearing a suit and tie.
