Clarification!

Something I Need To Clarify

Before I start this small rant, I want y'all to know that I do not intend on hurting anyone's feelings. My own feelings have been hurt, and I just wanted to explain why. In order to do so, I have to explain why I feel his way, which means I'll have to quote what some people said. I don't have anything against anyone, I just felt like I needed to say this.

PEOPLE. You know how this story is based off of the Harry Potter series written by J.K Rowling?

When J.K Rowling wrote the Harry Potter series, she made the Slytherins "snobs" and "mean" and "arrogant". As you can tell, I'm trying to incorporate a bit of that into this story I'm writing here. Yes, the Slytherins such as Jungkook, Taehyung, Mingyu, Taeyong, and etc are seemingly cold, arrogant, rude assholes, but that's how my storyline is supposed to go. Without this, my story would have no plot whatsoever and the story would just be called "Happy Korean Kids Wander Around Hogwarts Building Enjoying Life And Loving Each Other". No drama, no climax, no nothing; that's not interesting.

Instead, whenever a Slytherin has shown signs of extreme arrogance, or when a character from Ravenclaw or Gryffindor or whatnot said something along the lines of "Watch out for Slytherins, they're mean people" or "I can't stand Slytherins", that's because they DON'T WANT TO BE AROUND THEM; Slytherins start out mean in this story. I mean, did Harry Potter want to become BFFs with Draco Malfoy - or ANY Slytherin, for that matter - and hang around them 24/7? NO, he didn't.

Instead of accepting the plot of the story, some people (not ALL, a lot of you have been super supportive) have just been like "oh my gosh why are you stereotyping Slytherins" "they're not mean" "Slytherins aren't mean why are you writing it like this". [as for those of you who only said short things like "Slytherins can be good people" but didn't take things further and didn't bash me, that's totally fine and thank you :)]

If J.K Rowling can write her books with those arrogant Slytherins that literally every main character in the book hates without being bashed for it, then why can't I? This is how it's supposed to go. Yes, Slytherins are mean, but it's not like that's the whole point of the story. They have backgrounds and lives, and they definitely have hearts. They are not necessarily "evil", they are still good people. I love Slytherins, and I do not mean to portray them as annoying-ass popular rich dimwits; no, I make them smart and talented, and as the story continues on the readers will find that there is much more to them than just arrogance.

I just want everyone to understand this. I dislike seeing comments that are insulting me for writing it this way; this is how it's supposed to be, it's meant to humor the audience and eventually it will escalate into more personal things. You'll find out more about the Slytherins. Heck, I even made Joy a nice person (although she can be savage too) and I don't even think J.K Rowling did that with any of the Slytherins.

Now, if you observe the HP series, you'll know that as time went on it was discovered that Slytherins such as Draco and Snape weren't actually bad. Maybe if you keep reading, you'll see that it's the case for this story. For the sake of this story, I'm just portraying them as the intolerant people that other Houses dislike, but am I bashing the House? Did I ever say Slytherins were dumb, spoiled or talentless? No. I'm not bashing them at all, they're some of the most important people in this story. I just need to portray them this way for the sake of this story, and I hope you guys understand.

This is only directed to the people who were GENUINELY upset, not the ones who were just joking. I thought I'd clear that up, and I really don't mean to make anyone feel bad. Please don't apologize! I'm just clearing things up, and apologizing for making things unclear to begin with.

I'm sorry if I hurt any Slytherins out there by portraying them as mean or "seemingly" evil. SLYTHERINS (and all Houses out there) SERIOUSLY I LOVE YOU AND LETS BE FRIENDS ❤️❤️. LET US ALL BE ONE.
