9: Celebration
"I'm calling the police." Yeri announced rather loudly, earning herself groans from both Chaeyoung and Wendy.
"The police?" Chaeyoung said in exasperation. "Police don't even exist in the wizarding world."
"I'm still calling them." Yeri continued. "There was a fucking moth on the curtain next to my bed. I hate moths."
"You're overreacting, Yeri." Wendy grumbled as she buried her face into a pillow, trying her best to fall back asleep after being woken up by her obnoxious cousin. "It's just a moth."
"Are you kidding?" Yeri whispered fiercely. "That thing was out to kill me, I'm telling you!"
"It was just sitting on the curtain minding it's own business until you decided to grab my blanket and swat it until it plummeted." Chaeyoung complained. "And thanks for that, by the way, thanks a lot."
"Wha- I didn't have a choice, Chae!" Yeri protested.
"Then why didn't you use your own blanket?" Chaeyoung shot back, raising her eyebrows.
"Ew, are you kidding me?" Yeri wrinkled her nose in disgust. "I'm not getting moth guts on my blanket."
"That's it, I'm done." Chaeyoung said, flopping face first onto her bed and ignoring the continuous complaints from Yeri.
"Girls, please." Wendy said, attempting to quiet them down. She'd had to put a Muffling Charm amongst the three of them earlier in order to muffle the sound of their voices, seeing as they had started to wake up other students, who were only trying to get a good night's sleep. Luckily for Yeri and Chaeyoung, Wendy had been there to cast the charm; otherwise they would have gotten into huge trouble by now.
"We have a Quidditch game tomorrow, have you forgotten already?" Wendy sighed. "We don't have time to freak out about a tiny moth; if you don't get enough rest, you won't be able to perform well."
"I'd gladly be resting right now if Yeri hadn't interrupted me about her stupid moth problem." Chaeyoung muttered, quickly turning over to face the opposite direction as she covered her ears with pillows, desperately trying to drown out any possible source of sound.
"Yeri," Wendy said quietly, casting Chaeyoung out of the Muffling Charm so that it was just the two of them, "is this perhaps more than just a moth?"
Yeri sighed. "The Quidditch game, Wendy; I don't think I'm ready. I've only had a few days to practice, and I-"
"Yerim," Wendy interrupted her, "don't stress out about it, please. I know it's frightening, but you know what you're doing, trust me; I've seen you up there in the sky, and you have some mad skills. Use them tomorrow, and you'll be alright."
"But Wendy," Yeri protested, "I have to go against Chungha. Chungha. She's three years older than me, how am I supposed to beat her?"
Wendy sighed, feeling bad for her cousin. "When it comes to playing Seeker, Chungha has a sharp eye. She's one of the better Seekers out there - granted, we only have four total, and all of you are quite skilled - but she has trouble stopping her broom after going at fast paces. It's not easy for her to swerve out of a narrow spot, but she's really fast and agile in the air; possibly faster than all of the other Seekers. Your best bet is to keep an eye out for the Snitch, and try to lure her away from it; especially if she's closer to it than you are. We'll also have Seokjin and Mina hitting Bludgers towards her whenever they can afford to."
